BJ Penn needs to finish this fight within the first three rounds. He still gasses and he’s had only one fight go five rounds in his entire career and that was a loss. Sherk is more battle tested to say the least. If it goes all five, then Sherk will win.

I’m sorry, he’s gone all five only twice. It was a loss and a draw. Still, he can’t have it go all five.

Yeah, I was actually at the field goal game that year. It seems like Vandy gets the worst breaks when it comes to football. besides the fact that they are in the SEC East, it seems like they play most everyone pretty tough and like you said, always find a way to lose.

We were also about 3 feet short on a last second field goal to beat you guys the next year as well… you know what they say about Vandy kids: they gotta be smart to find that many ways to lose.

I’ve always got faith that this is the year we make a bowl game though… I was a fan before and through the Woody ball era, so the past few years have actually been kinda nice!

@August. I’ve never really had a problem with Vanderbilt. I was pretty pissed that son of a bitch Jay Cutler came to Fayetteville and beat us a couple years back, but I was more upset about our piss-poor coaching than I was at Vandy. I saw Price and Nick Schmidt pitch in a game last year here in Fayetteville, there were probably 50 MLB scouts at that game.
