That line is something he says on his radio show about “being Mr. Tony.” He may have said it, and it may have been meant in jest, but there was a communication breakdown.

For my encounters in public with Mr Tony, he always seems to know to act in public. In private, not necessarily the same thing.

Also, I think he knows how to behave in restaurants, given that he likely will soon be footing the bill for his daughter to start one.

I know a kid whose dad went to high school w/ TK. Every year they go down to Tk’s house in Rehoboth and play golf and hang out. I had just been down there for Memorial Day weekend and asked where they went out. He told me they cooked in every night because TK didn’t want to go out be bothered by all his “fans”. By the way Starboard = ridiculousness

How grown ass people don’t see how dumb it is to be a dick to the under-paid, over-worked people who handle your food behind closed doors, I’ll never understand.

My bet is TK has a faint idea of how somebody’s ass tastes now…

I don’t think you can call BS on this one, given how sarcastic this guy is on both radio and TV. If anything, I wonder if he was saying this with a smile on his face. I hope so, because who knows what the cook or waiter “added” to his meal if he was being a serious prick.
