Yeah, UGA would be shaking in their fucking overalls./sarcasmCoop - Did UGA do something bad to Penn State at some point? Because every fucking time UGA gets brought up you jump on them like it's personal. Whether it's Herschel Walker, Vince Dooley, or the entire UGA program, you act like they killed your children. Chill out, dude. We don't give a fuck about Penn State. You shouldn't give a fuck about us.And I assure you, Spence, that it sucks just as much to get hit in 20 degree weather as it does in 100 degree weather. Keep trying to come up with excuses as to why your team has been beaten soundly by SEC teams the last two years. I'm not trying to be a dick, but c'mon, man. LSU was just better than OSU in '08. Florida was just better than OSU in '07. The SEC is far and away much better than the Big Ten, top to bottom (or any other way you look at it) the last few years. It's okay. It doesn't make you, as a fan, inferior to me, as a fan. It's just a fact. It's not shit-talking or anything else.I don't think anyone with a brain is picking UGA as #1 just because they beat the shit out of Hawaii. I don't know why people keep saying that. And August West - I know that you have to dwell on this every time UGA gets brought up (because what the fuck else does Vandy football have to be proud of), but I doubt that a loss to Vandy in 2006, when Matt Stafford was a true freshman (and making his first or second start), and Knowshon Moreno was playing in high school in NJ, and Kregg Lumpkin was our starting RB, has a whole hell of a lot to do with the game in 2008. But whatever floats your boat. While I've always been extremely apathetic toward Vandy fans (because, like I said before, it's not like they've been a huge factor in the SEC that often), I'm getting tired of them. You beat us in '06. Great. We beat you in '07. But no..."the UGA players were stomping on the Vandy logo!!! WAHHHH!!!" Check youtube. Coutu made the game-winning field goal, and after he kicked it, he was standing on the Vandy logo. The rest of the players ran to him to celebrate (given that he had just won the game for them) and they happened to be standing on the logo (because, again, that's where the kicker, who had just made the game-winning field goal, was standing). Again, it's Vandy. It's not like there's a long history of acrimony between us. Get over it.The Florida celebration was bad, and I'm not proud of it. But the Vandy thing was not taunting in any way. Vandy fans were just pissed because they lost. It's unfortunate that a lot of SEC fans are obnoxious, because it gives the rest of us a bad rap. But I think anyone with an objective mind can see that the SEC, from top to bottom, is the best conference in the nation on a consistent basis. Sure, there might be a year where the PAC 10 might be better. But more than likely, the year before that and the year after, the SEC was better. Which is why I say "on a consistent basis."And UGA doesn't travel out of their conference that often. Would you, if you had to play Florida, Tennessee, and Auburn EVERY YEAR? In addition to any number of SEC West teams that they alternate between (LSU, Alabama, etc)? We also have an out-of-conference rivalry with Georgia Tech, who is usually a really good team. So, with 8 conference games (with anywhere from 2-5 of those being vs. ranked teams) and 1 non-conference game vs a team that's usually ranked, why would we want to then, on top of that, travel to the west coast or the Big 10 to play ANOTHER good team at their home stadium? That doesn't make much sense.

Spence – you’d love to see SEC teams play at Wisconsin? I grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska and can remember playing pickup games in the snow in the winter. Hurts like hell, when you get hit. On the flip side, I have lived in Atlanta for 12 years and it is no easy task to be loaded up with lbs of extra equipment and play in 95* degree heat with a 97* humidity.

Spence- Ultimately, it is comparing opposite ends of the spectrum. I would love to see SEC teams head up north as well as Big 10 teams play down south. However, since northern weather doesn't, usually take a turn for the worse until later in the year, you probably will not see many SEC teams coming your way anytime soon.

spence-

Your winter weather is no tougher to play in than the south’s summer weather.
