If I remember correctly, he was recovering from micro fracture knee surgery and he had some bouts with infection. Not trying to make excuses for him (he always been chunky) but he wasn’t ready for camp and hasn’t been able to get into any semblance of playing shape.

how anyone who goes through an NBA practice and game schedule could possibly be fat is beyond me.
