D.C. was too broad so it was struck down, the next step would be to track the granting of licenses by a City and argue that the enforcement of the regulations is a de facto ban on all gun ownership, small legal steps the NRA is just collecting data now to support the argument that the Cities are doing in practice what D.C. did in black letter law. and if Hawkeye is still around, my point about the Washington D.C. case is that it is the basis of challenging the other laws.
