If you’re like us, and wondering why this kind of endless praise isn’t showered upon black college athletes

I’m not wondering, announcers are so racist it is a joke. When was the last time a black player was called “scrappy,” or “heady” or anything denoting work ethic or perseverance? The biggest problem here is that announcers and fans make black athletes pay in judgement for anything done wrong by another athlete that happens to be black, but then don’t do the same thing to white athletes when someone like Romanowski has a ‘roid rage moment. This is pretty much exactly how racism works in real-life too, so I guess it shouldn’t be that surprising.

who? clarett? i vaguely remember someone who wore no. 13 and carried ohio state to a national championship, but his name was sworn to never ben mentioned again.

I think he comes off the OSU salary cap next year though.

I’ll contend that the only reason Tebow didn’t start halfway through his Freshman year was because Urban Meyer feared being considered a racist for not starting Leach.

It’s hard to find players who are this good on AND OFF the field. They are rare and deserve the praise. Tell me, would you rather you son be more like Tim or more like Maurice (Clarett)?
