Today, it was yet another Big East team known better for excellence in college hoops, the UConn Huskies. What more can be said? Under Charlie’s watch, the Irish have lost back-to-back games to Air Force and Navy, the aforementioned abomination against the Orangemen, another loss to Navy, and today’s disaster against UConn. In a word? Embarrassing. In another word? Relief. The Charlie Weis era is finally over. Lesnar’s jiu-jitsu coach Comprido Medeiros, told reporters he could be back fighting within the next six months. “He is getting better and that is the most important thing. He will be fine and be fighting again within 6 months. I can just say that the heavyweights can stop laughing and get ready to start crying because the champion will be back soon."
