TBL – did you see the opinion on CNN.com about the obesity tax….the guy didn’t say anything untrue.
December 19th, 2008 at 8:12 am
I always wonder what it is like to root for a team that just goes out and gets all the good FA’s. I mean doesn’t it cheapen the fan experience?
December 19th, 2008 at 8:14 am
girl dancing to shakira in front of the mirror wearing a bra and underwear.
happy friday!
December 19th, 2008 at 8:21 am
And why would someone have done that? TBL, read A.O. Scott’s review of Seven Pounds today. Hilarious.
“I don’t see how any review could really spoil what may be among the most transcendently, eye-poppingly, call-your-friend-ranting-in-the-middle-of-the-night-just-to-go-over-it-one-more-time crazily awful motion pictures ever made. Did I really see what I thought I saw?”

Scarlett is much better than a bailout. I agree.
December 19th, 2008 at 8:29 am
CRM
- Can we still be friends? The Colts don’t play a meaningful game for another 17 games so it should give you plenty of time to gather new material.

movie choice this weekend: DESS, 7 Pounds, Wrestler.
December 19th, 2008 at 8:31 am
This site generally ruins it for me with women I previously thought were attractive.
December 19th, 2008 at 8:32 am
Crap remake, Oscar contender or emotionally manipulative tripe? And yet the one up for Oscars is only opening in select cities. No wonder our country makes shit like Beverly Hills Chihuaha number one at the box office…
December 19th, 2008 at 8:32 am
last 6 colts wins – no opponent has had a winning record. it’s in the next post. breathe deeply, sanders.
December 19th, 2008 at 8:36 am
Jameer Nelson was $ again as the Magic handily beat the Spurs by a dozen
i take it there is no room in Ballin. good thing it is pay day. Spurs were tired because they got in at 3:30 am blah blah blah. Gortat had 2 points and 4 boards(Oden #’s)

random: when kobe swatted MJ (call by marv)
December 19th, 2008 at 8:37 am
not no room, Irish … only two games.
December 19th, 2008 at 8:39 am
It is all good TBL. TGIF
December 19th, 2008 at 8:40 am
True story: I went to school with the oldest son in the $44,000/yr story up there. Weird.
December 19th, 2008 at 8:41 am
Emotionally manipulative tripe? That’s Daron Aronofsky you’re talking about, bud.
December 19th, 2008 at 8:41 am
TBL
- Watch before you start breaking out clips of Kobe swatting a 40 year-old MJ.
December 19th, 2008 at 8:43 am
This, I meant to say.
December 19th, 2008 at 8:44 am
Was referring to the Will Smith collaboration with his “Pursuit of Saccharine” director, not Darren Aronofsky. The Wrestler looks awesome. Hopefully I’ll get to see it before February.
December 19th, 2008 at 8:46 am
Simmons wrote a good review of that film yesterday.
/Lightning may strike me down for complementing Simmons (first time in two years)

I knew you’d find a way to spin it. Congrats. They’ve still beaten four likely playoff teams AND your Super Bowl-caliber Chargers. Oh, and number of teams with a winning record the Cowboys have beaten all season? 3.
December 19th, 2008 at 8:53 am
bsanders, I had no problem with the Colts or you. I’ll take note that the Colts are off limits. I’ll try to come up with some new material and then use it sparingly so that I don’t beat a dead colt and bury it below the grave of Robert Irsay.
December 19th, 2008 at 8:54 am
Don’t worry, CRM. I’m assuming TBL will take care of today’s Colts hatred in his next post when he rips them for beating the teams on their schedule. Did they actually bury Robert Irsay? I thought they burned him in public in West Baltimore?
December 19th, 2008 at 8:55 am
damn you, irish. that was an entire post!
December 19th, 2008 at 8:55 am
We’ve all been there.
December 19th, 2008 at 8:57 am
I dont know about you guys but I would totally fuck the Philipino chick in the Montgomery prostitution sting.
December 19th, 2008 at 8:57 am
if you want to make it about the cowboys, fine. But those six colts wins were against teams that HAD losing records when Indy played them.
not the case with dallas:
4 of their last 6 opponents have had a winning record.
indy hasn’t PLAYED a team with a winning record since nov 2.
December 19th, 2008 at 8:59 am
Neither the Cowboys or Colts are going to win the Super Bowl because they neither team has a good enough defense. Can we just agree on that?
December 19th, 2008 at 8:59 am
What’s your point? They’ve still beaten them all. They also beat Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh minus their starting RB, something Dallas couldn’t do. And why should the Cowboys get credit for beating a team who had a winning record AT THE TIME? If you finish 8-8, you’re an 8-8 team, not the team that started 5-2.
December 19th, 2008 at 8:59 am
I can’t wait to see The Wrestler. Though I might have to leave the kids with a hobo outside the theatre while I go in and see it. Don’t tell my wife.

Games at Pittsburgh dont count?
December 19th, 2008 at 9:01 am
CRM
- I don’t think either the Colts or Cowboys will win the Super Bowl. I don’t think the Cowboys will make the playoffs. And the Colts’ defense sucks for a majority of many of their games. Of course, it helps that the Colts’ QB is a tad better than the matinee idol starting for the Cowboys, moxie or no moxie.
December 19th, 2008 at 9:01 am
Colts suck.
December 19th, 2008 at 9:02 am
Marisa Tomei takes it off again. The opening scene of Before the Devil Knows Your Dead where PSH’s fleshy ass is just nailing her from behind is quite jarring.
December 19th, 2008 at 9:04 am
I challenge anyone to watch Before the Devil Knows Your Dead and then try to forget what Marisa Tomei’s tits look like. They’re burned into my memory.
December 19th, 2008 at 9:10 am
Hef Im going to Mr. Skin.
December 19th, 2008 at 9:19 am
so beating a 3-7 houston team means the same as beating a 7-7 houston team? interesting. and here i thought teams improved and got worse as the season goes on.
guess not. i mean, heck, the eagles … nothing’s changed there at all. same group that tied the bengals, i guess.
December 19th, 2008 at 9:27 am
TBL, the Globe editorial was stupid. the economy is still in the shitter, and likely will get worse over the next year. that doesn’t, in and of itself, mean that bailouts (bad PR on the part of financial firms, should have called it something else) are not going to work. and the fact that people are facing reality is a good thing.
December 19th, 2008 at 9:31 am
JA – It was a purdue matt special. he can’t comment from work anymore (company blocked commenting on blogs), but maybe he’ll chime in later.
He thinks i have a democratic agenda, and i said i’m willing to read and look at both sides of any story.
December 19th, 2008 at 9:45 am
gawd why didn’t i major in finance and move to nyc….
December 19th, 2008 at 9:52 am
Why is that movie to see? Keanu Reeves is fucking awful. “Your world?”
Also, that LenWhale White video is fucking dumb. Is that dude with the crooked flatbill supposed to be a journalist? I think this is a CD release party for Boys N Da Hood. But what the hell is LenWhale doing there and why are they dropping the ‘N’ bomb like every 20 seconds?
December 19th, 2008 at 10:06 am
Scar-Jo has really gone downhill..the hot factor just isn’ there.
Keanu is always awful..that’s why playing an alien is perfect for him.
December 19th, 2008 at 10:14 am
i’m assuming that you don’t see the irony is saying small d democratic agenda as if that is a bad thing.
December 19th, 2008 at 10:45 am
You have a small d? That sucks. Sorry for your loss.
