This one should officially end all Syracuse bubble chatter three months before the March discussions begin: guard Eric Devendorf, the team’s best shooter, has performed his necessary community service (wearing a hairnet!) for hitting a female student in the face, and has been re-instated to the team. Rautins can go back to his role as 6th man, and the freshman won’t be pressed into minutes they weren’t ready for, in this the Greatest Season in Big East History. We’ve got the ‘Cuse somewhere between the Final 4 and Sweet 16.

In slightly more yawn-inducing news on this slow Saturday, meddling Cowboys owner Jerry Jones continues to say things to land in the news: coach Wade Phillips’ isn’t going anywhere, regardless of what happens Sunday in Philly. The “Big D” must stand for drama, not Dallas. Whether it is Pacman Jones, Terrell Owens or Jerry Jones, the Cowboys must be a national story every week. It is written somewhere in the NFL bylaws, feel free to look it up.

The Sunday plan that hopefully will work: Church, gym, Seven Pounds, NFL, NFL, NFL. We can’t wait until Tuesday - that should be the day all futures are paid out, and we fully plan on dedicating a brief post to the Dolphins for their winning ways, and the Lions for their ineptitude.
