But I thought if TBL pretended it never happened, then it really didn’t? I’d give just about anything for an Indy blowout win tonight. That’d be almost as good as a Super Bowl win.

Anyone else see The Wrestler yet? Man, Rourke just knocks the piss out of it.
It’s online if anyone wants to take a gander.

Pretty sure that Vin-Sanity hit a shot to beat the Hawks, not the Lakers.

Devin Downey > Stephen Curry. Okay, maybe not quite…but Downey is one of the 10 best players in college basketball, and nobody seems to realize it. He is the 2nd coming of Iverson, and is going to be a sensational pro.

Colts fans are tickled that Manning’s the MVP
Of course they are. He’s finally as good as Brett Favre!
/ESPN’d
//well, actually he’s like 150 interceptions away from being as good as Brett Favre

MARBURY DENIES REPORT HE’S DECIDED ON BOSTON
Thank god. I’d hate for the media to finally report that he did something. I don’t know if they know how to do that anymore

It’s like Pedroia winning the AL MVP. Not sure if he deserves it, but the voters are obligated to give it to someone.
January 3rd, 2009 at 10:29 am
Clown, you are so right, should have gone to Eli.
January 3rd, 2009 at 10:37 am
Should have gone to Michael Turner or deAngelo Williams, and I’m a Saints fan.

Who is the girl in the pic? I’m a fan.
January 3rd, 2009 at 10:54 am
I don’t get it. Did the Jazz move to Jersey? Did the Lakers win or lose? Did you mean the PISTONS?
January 3rd, 2009 at 11:05 am
fixed. i think.
January 3rd, 2009 at 11:16 am
In what regard is he like Iverson? The overrated “scorer” or the guy who’s old teams get better after he leaves?
January 3rd, 2009 at 11:20 am
The Sixers sure have had the same success as they did when Iverson was with the team (NBA Finals).
January 3rd, 2009 at 11:31 am
The Pistons will be a better team this post season than they have been the past 2 or 3 years, because now they will have 2 players who are willing and able to carry their teams for long stretches offensively. Where as before their idea of clutch was Billups hitting a big 3 in the 3rd quarter.
January 3rd, 2009 at 11:32 am
Anyone catch that 3 to end the game by Melo? In the clutch:
Melo >>>>>>> LeBron
January 3rd, 2009 at 11:37 am
Pistons are going to be better more because of Stuckey than Iverson, but I do agree with that point as well.
January 3rd, 2009 at 11:38 am
Fantasy > Reality
Iverson’s legit.
January 3rd, 2009 at 11:42 am
Knowing the game by seeing > Watching the game with your calculator
Iverson is a Hall of Famer

Steady and right > pseudo innovative and wrong.
Kobe > LeBron
January 3rd, 2009 at 11:56 am
Steady and right = valuing guys that can’t make shots and don’t play defense.
pseudo innovative and wrong = valuing guys who make shots and play a little D.
Check and check.
Darrell > common sense
January 3rd, 2009 at 11:58 am
Steady and right = fantasy sports fan
pseudo innovative and wrong = understanding the sport
NickP >>> Darrell

Iverson’s scrappy. He’s like a black David Eckstein.
January 3rd, 2009 at 12:01 pm
He plays hard. He just rarely plays well.
January 3rd, 2009 at 12:01 pm
Blacks can’t be scrappy. That’s an exclusive White term.
January 3rd, 2009 at 12:04 pm
“Play the game the white….I mean right way.”

5′11″ 165 driving for a winning basket > 6′9″ 275 lbs pulling up for a 30 ft 3 with 16 seconds on the shot clock.
January 3rd, 2009 at 12:18 pm
Midgets are so cool, especially when they try to play basketball.
January 3rd, 2009 at 12:37 pm
Losing Iverson didn’t make the Nuggets better, gaining Billups did.
January 3rd, 2009 at 2:33 pm
Love Iverson. Guy is 5′11″ and just a ridiculous athlete. Favorite dunk of his was on the follow-up on a free throw in Seattle.
January 3rd, 2009 at 5:08 pm
The Nuggets won 50 games last year. Unless they finish this year with something demonstrably more than 50 wins and the 8th seed, they’re no better. The value of the trade will be shown in the Playoffs. If Billups had trouble enough being abused by Andre Miller last year, what is the outlook for him in trying to guard Williams or Paul?
