Is There a Chance Michael Irvin Lied About the Ruffians Who Pointed a Gun at Him? Certainly.
1-liner, Guns, Media Gossip/Musings, NFL retirees January 15th. 2009, 6:15pmMichael Irvin: A shadow of doubt is being cast on Michael Irvin’s tale from earlier this week about getting a gun pulled on him. Problem with the Playmaker is that he broke the news on the radio before filing a police report, and then what he’s telling the public doesn’t jive with what he told police. Mike, are you using again, dawg? The strippers and fur coats and hotels with mountains of powder are so 1993, man. (Deadspin)

But he said ‘Oh, that’s Michael Irvin, with the Dallas Cowboys. He’s one of my best customers. You wanna do a line Mike?

Since the bar the shooting took place in front of is named after him, I say Michael Irvin was the one who shot the guy in the Marvin Harrison story. I think that ESPN the mag story’s got some serious holes in it, though. I know Marv’s a professional athlete, but he’s 6′0 180, how is he kicking the ass of a guy who weighs 270?

Has Michael Irvin ever told the truth about anything?
