At a Xmas tourney last month I reffed a game that was 41-0 at halftime. Thankfully PA has a mercy rule that runs the clock in the 2nd half, so it only ended up something like 61-13.
BTW – Salma has been awesome on 30 Rock the last couple of weeks. We need a photo of her in that dress from last night’s episode.
January 16th, 2009 at 8:25 am
Salma always makes me feel warm regardless of the temperature. Yum.
January 16th, 2009 at 8:27 am
did you see 30 rock last night with her? she looked great

Delonte West fractures his non-shooting hand
not good for your Champs huh TBL? No cavs hate from me today. A lot of Cavs fans had some nice things to say about my squad this week. But one certain wise ass Pistons fan who thinks his team is still better than Orlando because of one win. I got news for you Sparty, your Pistons squad isnt the same one that beat Orlando in the playoffs last year
January 16th, 2009 at 8:30 am
Welcome back, irish.
January 16th, 2009 at 8:35 am
good to be back Nick P. i missed the smack talking and the banter on this site. It was so hard reading comments and not being able to respond.
January 16th, 2009 at 8:38 am
no, detroit is not nearly as good. but as we showed in our match-up this year. we still own jameer nelson.
January 16th, 2009 at 8:39 am
until Orlando beats the Pistons in a 7 game series, they are still a bunch of chumps.
January 16th, 2009 at 8:40 am
Sparty- chumps? lol AI is a chump. dude sucks
January 16th, 2009 at 8:40 am
I live about 5 blocks from the Capitol, so I’ll be at Inauguration by default.
January 16th, 2009 at 8:41 am
irish, welcome back. you’re a good sport, unlike clown.
January 16th, 2009 at 8:44 am
@sean jean – you planning on attending or are you avoiding the crowd? by the way, I found this comment a couple of days ago. very unintentionally prophetic by you!
January 16th, 2009 at 8:46 am
AI is far from a chump. He has at least made it the Finals, which is more than anybody on that Magic roster can say. i truly hope the Pistons play the Magic (again) in the playoffs.
mmonmast – i did not see 30 Rock last night. was watching The Office at that time. great episode, btw. Angela finally got whats been coming to that bitch for a while. good stuff.
January 16th, 2009 at 8:46 am
again, beat the Pistons in a series,or get farther than they do in May if they don’t play one another, and then get some dap. Indiana always beat up the Pistons a few years ago in the regular season, but couldn’t beat them in the playoffs.
January 16th, 2009 at 8:46 am
True story.
January 16th, 2009 at 8:47 am
Feb 27th Pistons fans. Circle it
January 16th, 2009 at 8:57 am
tbl, no interest in defiance?
January 16th, 2009 at 9:02 am
Defiance was solid, a little long, a tad over-manipulative (if that’s a word). In other words, it’s an Ed Zwick movie.
Still can’t believe how great Friday Night Lights was this season. Really hope they bring it back for a fourth go-round, even if it’ll be very different.
January 16th, 2009 at 9:04 am
Where did Spary go? Why couldn’t he comment?
January 16th, 2009 at 9:07 am
KC-i could comment, Irish couldn;t
January 16th, 2009 at 9:09 am
@ bsanders37, I thought it was awesome as well and will most likely watch it again on NBC.
January 16th, 2009 at 9:09 am
just watced the finale…really was a great season, sonsidering re-watching it on NBC
January 16th, 2009 at 9:13 am
why would this one regular season game mean more than the last one? i agree with sparty – try actually winning a series before you start talking crap. remember all the ‘make it rain’ talk last year? remember eating your words? you would think that eventually you would learn. maybe not.
January 16th, 2009 at 9:18 am
TBL, you gonna do a post on ESPN trying to out one of the NFL playoff teams as cheaters again this year? Mike Fish is a hack.
January 16th, 2009 at 9:19 am
chelsea- How was that Indiana game?
January 16th, 2009 at 9:20 am
CJ – I’m going to need more information than that. Link? I usually dont hit ESPN’s site until noon
January 16th, 2009 at 9:21 am
the indiana game was much worse than the Orlando game.
January 16th, 2009 at 9:23 am
18-15 since the AI trade

1-0 against the Magic since the AI trade
January 16th, 2009 at 9:30 am
TBL
- You can’t believe anything Florio writes if it’s all denigrating to the Pats. He gets on his soapbox. He’s an admitted Pats apologists. The Pats WERE videotaping sideline signals, I’m pretty sure the Steelers WERE and ARE taking HGH. But I’m also pretty sure most, if not all, NFL teams were and are doing the exact same things. The Pats’ Super Bowl wins aren’t tainted, they had the best coach of all time, a great defense and a kicker who can’t walk because his balls are so big. The Steelers’ accomplishments won’t be tainted, either.
Seems like a non-story to me, but it’ll generate a lot of traffic for Florio.
January 16th, 2009 at 9:32 am
touche Chelsea. Nothing personal, i just hate your squad
January 16th, 2009 at 9:40 am
No problem, Irish.
The playoffs just hate your team.
January 16th, 2009 at 9:45 am
AI doesn’t suck. That isn’t up for debate.
As for the Magic v Pistons…I’ll wait till the postseason for the final verdict. BUT speculating right now, the Magic look like a better team. Inside the Pistons have no one who can go toe-to-toe with Supaman. And outside, individually Rip and AI are better than Nelson. But as a backcourt, they can’t get out of each other’s way.
Right now I’d say Denver won the AI-Chauncey trade.
January 16th, 2009 at 9:47 am
Haha. You sure didnt check out his site last year.
January 16th, 2009 at 9:48 am
0 degrees today. I’m movin to Hawaii.

AI doesn’t suck. That isn’t up for debate
It is a travesty that AI will be selected to the ALL Star team
January 16th, 2009 at 9:54 am
-22 outside right now.
January 16th, 2009 at 9:56 am
really? i think he’s pretty shitty.
January 16th, 2009 at 10:12 am
really? i think he’s pretty shitty.
Why? Cause he shoots more than he passes? Or cause of the tats and attitude?
It is a travesty that AI will be selected to the ALL Star team
The All Star Game is a pageant. And AI has name recognition. It’s the same reason why T-Mac will get voted in even though he shouldn’t.
January 16th, 2009 at 10:14 am
@bffredo- do you think your Hornets are going to win tonight?
January 16th, 2009 at 10:18 am
Miz: I’ll probably check out the zoo just because I can walk a few blocks to it. I won’t go out of my way though. It should be interesting.
January 16th, 2009 at 10:19 am
Also, shit, just read my post from earlier. Scary.
January 16th, 2009 at 10:23 am
BFFredo…because he takes too many shots, isn’t efficient offensively in the least, doesn’t play defense unless he can get a flashy steal, doesn’t pass…ever, doesn’t rebound…i mean, these aren’t good things here.
but he scores 30 points occasionally! yay!
January 16th, 2009 at 10:29 am
@spence: So…because of the tattoos?
January 16th, 2009 at 10:38 am
it’s actually the arm sleeve.
January 16th, 2009 at 10:45 am
No Ballin today. Great games on ESPN tonight. NO at Cleveland first and Orlando vs LAL at 10:30
January 16th, 2009 at 10:57 am
do you think your Hornets are going to win tonight?
Absolutely.
Normally, I might feel a bit hesitant, but after watching the Cavs last night just capitulate to the Bulls, I think the Hornets can have a good go at them.
If LeBron has another bad shooting night….
January 16th, 2009 at 11:19 am
I dont know Bffredo, the Cavs are tough at home(19-0). New Orleans is 11-7 on the road so far this season. It will be a great game though, but not as good as the game that follow
