PM Roundup: ESPN The High School
Baseball, College Basketball, ESPN, High School Sports, NBA, NFL February 4th. 2009, 3:00pm
I had so little time to go trolling for a relavant celebrity today that I settled for a Spice Girl. Just pretend it’s 1997. It’ll be fun. You had so much to look forward to back then. (You and me both.)

ESPN’s first attempt at entering the European soccer market is rebuffed. (Unprofessional Foul)

a little early ?
February 4th, 2009 at 3:04 pm
Yea like how I still wanted recess when it was taken away when I moved to Middle School.
February 4th, 2009 at 3:07 pm
Congrats, Steelers*
February 4th, 2009 at 3:10 pm
Tiger is an ass if that story is true.
February 4th, 2009 at 3:12 pm
Does that mean the Gin Blossoms still rock?
/Who am I kidding, they’ll always rock
February 4th, 2009 at 3:19 pm
Hell yeah the Gin Blossoms rock.
February 4th, 2009 at 3:19 pm
That means the Steelers have won 6 Super Bowls: The first 4 because of steroids and the last 2 because of poor officiating
CONGRATULATIONS!!!
irony of the day: I scrolled my mouse over the fat girl Roundup pic, and it says it is MelB at the CD party for “Totally Fit”. I think it should say “Totally Fat”
February 4th, 2009 at 3:20 pm
what, you expect the guy who has no problem embarassing the fuck out of anyone who tries to compete with him to be a really nice guy?
tiger’s a prick…you don’t beat stephen ames 9&8 for saying you’re driver is a little shaky if you’re a nice guy. michael jordan was a dick in the same way. you don’t wax rory sabbatini by 10 strokse in the final round of the Bridgestone if you’re a nice guy.
are you surprised tiger could give a shit less about anyone else? his dad programmed him that way.
February 4th, 2009 at 3:20 pm
They failed to include the before photo
February 4th, 2009 at 3:20 pm
That school sounds intriguing. Too bad the AP story didn’t get into detail.
February 4th, 2009 at 3:22 pm
Texas has a law that limits the size of your yabbos?!
February 4th, 2009 at 3:24 pm
Just pretend it’s 1997. It’ll be fun.
Yeah, sure, CRM. Tell that to them
February 4th, 2009 at 3:26 pm
or these guys
February 4th, 2009 at 3:27 pm
/what you meant
February 4th, 2009 at 3:27 pm
Roethlishotdog FTW
February 4th, 2009 at 3:28 pm
Roeth, you the man.
I see absolutely no similarities b/n McNabb and Warner. Warner plays great in big situations, McNabb vomits on the field. Warner was undrafted and worked in a super market, McNabb was highly drafted. Warner has played for 3 teams, McNabb 1. Need I go on?
February 4th, 2009 at 3:29 pm
I got a brand new Mazada
/TBL circa ‘97
February 4th, 2009 at 3:33 pm
Yabbos? A pair of 38 KKK’s should get their own name.
February 4th, 2009 at 3:35 pm
that’s the third “tiger the shitty tipper” story that i can recall over the years.
February 4th, 2009 at 3:38 pm
I see absolutely no similarities b/n McNabb and Warner. Warner plays great in big situations, McNabb vomits on the field. Warner was undrafted and worked in a super market, McNabb was highly drafted. Warner has played for 3 teams, McNabb 1. Need I go on?
Exactly. That article was remarkably stupid, and probably the dumbest thing CRM has ever linked.
February 4th, 2009 at 3:38 pm
the mcnabb-warner article is stupid. everyone knows that white quarterbacks are like “can you fellas huddle up please”, and black quarterbacks be like “get in the DAMN HUDDLE”
/bad comedian’d
February 4th, 2009 at 3:39 pm
Tiger is an ass if that story is true.
who the hell cares whether or not he tips or not? how does that effect your life?
February 4th, 2009 at 3:43 pm
marlon brown is at the table with a buddy to the left wearing a UGA hat, and a girl to the right wearing a UT hat. i’m guessing he goes all superman and rips open his shirt to reveal a tOSU t-shirt.
February 4th, 2009 at 3:46 pm
dman, more friends in hats…
February 4th, 2009 at 3:47 pm
and marlon brown is a bulldog. shit.
February 4th, 2009 at 3:49 pm
corn damnit
February 4th, 2009 at 3:49 pm
Pryor couldn’t get the ball to him anyway.
February 4th, 2009 at 3:50 pm
so does that mean the girl on the right just pee’d on him?
February 4th, 2009 at 3:54 pm
Thank god he didn’t go to Columbus
February 4th, 2009 at 3:55 pm
true, clown. it would be absurd for any big-time receiver to come to tOSU right now. pryor off to flounder in michigan might not have been the worst thing in the world given the hesitancy of stud receivers or qb’s to come in during his run.
February 4th, 2009 at 3:58 pm
ESPN isn’t creating a high school at all.
http://awfulannouncing.blogspot.com/2009/02/update-ap-completely-botched-espn-high.html
February 4th, 2009 at 3:58 pm
and espn just went and “espn’d” their signing day coverage via a panel of analysts each picking their best dressed player today. the fuck?
February 4th, 2009 at 4:01 pm
Pryor throws like a girl. Michigan sucks.
I really hate signing day, way too many of these super-stud-can’t-miss-uber-prospects end up doing nothing. And I find it fairly creepy to be fawning over 16/17 year old kids.
February 4th, 2009 at 4:04 pm
i never got into it before this year. but we never had this good of a recruiting class before.
February 4th, 2009 at 4:20 pm
That chick bumped up to 38KKK. Biscuits and racism make a volatile mix.
February 4th, 2009 at 4:25 pm
Leitch and other Cardinals fans are IDIOTS if they think a single freeze frame proves jack shit. You would need an entire sequence of photos for it to prove there was only one foot down.
February 4th, 2009 at 4:31 pm
Didn’t see someone had already posted the before photo - nicely done. I’m sincerely hoping he was doing that tongue-in-cheek and he’s not really that stupid.
February 4th, 2009 at 4:43 pm
Anyone watch that video of the scorekeepers fighting? The guy on the left throws water at the guy on the right, who then jacks the hell out of him and sits back down. Then both guys act like nothing happened. It was odd.
February 4th, 2009 at 4:47 pm
sanders, you out there?
for the movie buffs

February 4th, 2009 at 4:53 pm
Just got back from the gym. Nice, lemme check it out.
February 4th, 2009 at 4:57 pm
bsanders, which way to the beach?
February 4th, 2009 at 5:02 pm
I wish it was warm enough for the beach. I fucked up my rotator cuff a few weeks back so I’ve been doing rehab exercises in the afternoons to try and avoid surgery. I only 14 out of 20 on that quiz. Man, there were some shitty movies that A LOT of people went to see. Forgot about Four Christmases, Bolt, Marley and Me, that other Narnia movie and a couple others. Lotta Blarts came out in 2008.
February 4th, 2009 at 5:05 pm
Man, age snuck up on Mel B and beat the shhh out of her face. In 1997 I gave up the weed… Fuck 1997.
February 4th, 2009 at 5:07 pm
Rotator cuff surgery is no joke. I’ve been off work since November, and won’t be back until at least April. Three months after the surgery, I still feel worse than I did when I first injured it.
February 4th, 2009 at 5:36 pm
how does one tear one’s rotator cuff being a desk jockey?
February 4th, 2009 at 5:44 pm
I didn’t tear mine, but I fucked it up lifting weights. It’s a pretty common injury, really, as most lifts don’t involved your rotator cuffs so they’re substantially weaker and thus more susceptible to injury.
February 4th, 2009 at 5:51 pm
I work in a Distribution Center, been there eight years. I wish I worked at a desk.
