Baseball, College Basketball, Hockey, NBA, NFL, UFC February 12th. 2009, 3:00pm
(To the PM Roundup, that is.) Marissa Miller wasn’t in the SI swimsuit issue so I feel like everyone might be forgetting about her. Not really.
Just finished reading Simmons’ Trade Value column. I don’t know why, but I too especially enjoyed the John Tesh video. That song does bring me back.

February 12th, 2009 at 3:05 pm
Griffin should get it, Earthworm Jim will get it.
February 12th, 2009 at 3:07 pm
Oh really bud? Was it not illegal when Pettitte admitted it a year ago? How on earth would you be able to suspend someone because of results that were supposed to be anonymous? Fucking imbecile! And I hate ARod! But this is ridiculous.
February 12th, 2009 at 3:07 pm
Bisping is a bitch. Doesn’t he have someone on his team who led a wild police and caused a miscarriage?
February 12th, 2009 at 3:07 pm
i believe Manning needs 94 games to break Favre’s regular season start streak. That’s 2 games less than 6 full seasons. Possible, but unlikely.

nothing better than skipping class to get drunk with the guys then going to a Lupe Fiasco concert.
I’m predicting a ND upset of Louisville tonight. Probably not going to happen but I have a feeling.
February 12th, 2009 at 3:15 pm
+1 Bo.
you should ‘refer’ from being so funny.
February 12th, 2009 at 3:15 pm

February 12th, 2009 at 3:16 pm
msuspartan-My buddy is up there he told me about that. Where you there when Eminem was there?
February 12th, 2009 at 3:17 pm
Is Simmons becoming aware of all the negative criticism aimed his way? BTW, I can’t disagree too much with his list.
February 12th, 2009 at 3:19 pm
Bruce, I did get free tickets, I’m gonna be hammered so whatever.
February 12th, 2009 at 3:19 pm
The small and big versions of each other: 23-year-old franchise players, a guaranteed 50 wins every years, statistical freaks, terrific teammates, good interviews, immensely fun to watch in person, disproportionately important to their teams
i guess so
February 12th, 2009 at 3:20 pm

February 12th, 2009 at 3:25 pm
Yea that shit was like in 03′ These guys tried to jump TJ Ducket and he fucked them up.
February 12th, 2009 at 3:26 pm
What the hell is the point of going to a concert if you don’t care about the performance?
/musician and music snob
February 12th, 2009 at 3:27 pm
anyone devolve themselves? fuckin creepy.
February 12th, 2009 at 3:29 pm
define criticism
Criticism: the act or art of analyzing and evaluating or judging the quality of a literary or artistic work, musical performance, art exhibit, dramatic production, etc.
and if you were in his shoes, what’s your move?
Not to give a good damn as I cash the ESPN mega-checks and board another private plane to Vegas with House, J-Bug and the ghost of Sam Horn?
February 12th, 2009 at 3:36 pm
and if you were in his shoes, what’s your move?
Continue to roll around on my bed full of cash.
February 12th, 2009 at 3:38 pm
dwaltlhi…i’ve never really listened to lupe but it’s my buddies birthday and he wanted me to go with with everyone
February 12th, 2009 at 3:40 pm
Following yesterday’s best Roundup headline ever, you succeed in worst headline ever. Well done, where’s tyduffy when you need him?
February 12th, 2009 at 3:40 pm
Watching Soccer.
February 12th, 2009 at 3:42 pm
never thought you’d say that did ya?
February 12th, 2009 at 3:45 pm
You better fucking absorb that concert and I expect you to enjoy every minute of the performance. Asshole.
/dwaltlhi
February 12th, 2009 at 3:48 pm
lupe’s alright. but he talks for 5 minutes between each song. it was more like a sermon than a concert.
February 12th, 2009 at 3:51 pm
He has good posts (baseball) even if I’m not interested in the content (uh soccer)
February 12th, 2009 at 4:03 pm
canoodle is the worst word in the english language. i fucking hate when people say/type it.
/looking at you CRM
//and myself, i guess
February 12th, 2009 at 4:06 pm
Will someone please, please, please teach Simmons the difference between a copyright and a trademark?
Because this:
Jameer Nelson: The toughest omission. With that contract (five years, $33 million), he easily would have made the cut if he wasn’t out with a shoulder (copyright: Al Michaels).
is not a proper use. You can’t copyright a phrase. He keeps doing this, too. Make him stop!!!
/end rant about pet peeve

Won’t need to. Should have all the ones that matter within six seasons, along with a couple more Super Bowl rings.

February 12th, 2009 at 4:17 pm
I’ve notified your local draft boards…
February 12th, 2009 at 4:21 pm
This should set off a few people…
From Simmons column, regarding Tim Duncan:
February 12th, 2009 at 4:23 pm
Who’s a better power forward than Tim Duncan? I can’t think of anyone. Unless you’re insinuating he’s a center and not a power forward.
February 12th, 2009 at 4:25 pm
That isnt news Wally
February 12th, 2009 at 4:29 pm
Wally, Simmons is right on that.
I mean, who’s on the list? Malone, McHale, ‘Sheed, Pettit, Hayes, DeBuscherre, Rodman.
February 12th, 2009 at 4:38 pm
Barkley
February 12th, 2009 at 4:39 pm
You did not just include Sheed with those guys
February 12th, 2009 at 4:42 pm
Sheed? GTFO
February 12th, 2009 at 4:46 pm
Best centers? Kareem, Wilt, Shaq, Eaton, Russell, Hakeem
/BFFredo
February 12th, 2009 at 4:49 pm
Thank you, thank you, I will be here all week.
I’m surprised I didn’t get killed for omitting Unseld and the Chuckster more than for including Sheed (who was a great PF, but a greater knucklehead).
February 12th, 2009 at 4:53 pm
Sheed is an all time talent no doubt, too bad he never put it all together.
February 12th, 2009 at 4:58 pm
Best centers? Kareem, Wilt, Shaq, Eaton, Russell, Hakeem
/BFFredo
Hey, hey, hey! I forgot Shawn Bradley in there!
February 12th, 2009 at 6:47 pm
No, it was the Center/PF argument that I was looking for… That evidently failed in terms of humor… He’s definitely at the top of the list….
