Internet Pranksters at It Again, or Maybe the Son of Steeler Great Franco Harris is Running for Mayor

One of our favorite sitcom characters, Michael Scott, had the following to say about Wikipedia: “Wikipedia is the best thing ever. Anyone in the world can write anything they want about any subject. So you know you are getting the best possible information.” That being said … if you hustle over to the wikipedia page of Franco Harris, you’ll see this curious message tucked at the bottom:
“Harris’ son F. Dok Harris is about to announce he will be running for mayor of Pittsburgh. Additionally, Dok does not always brush his teeth before leaving the house.”
This is either an elaborate ruse by some cunning internet pranksters – there’s even a website! – or there’s a scintilla of truth to this Mayoral quest.

Yesterday, I wiki’d Donnie Walsh, because I was trying to figure out when he was the head coach of the Nuggets, and found this gem at the end:

First of all, it’s “you’re” not “your.” And I’m not sure why my comment would make me a thesaurus. You do know what a thesaurus is, don’t you?
Second, I admit that I may be missing the joke here, but ‘Guy running for mayor’ doesn’t really do it for me. Eating elephant ear might make the thesauraus, however.
