The Good News is, Rodney Rogers is Alive
1-liner, College Basketball March 11th. 2009, 1:45pmSad: Rodney Rogers, former Wake Forest star (ACC POY in 1993) and NBA pick, has finally spoken about the dirt bike accident that left him paralyzed from the neck down. We must warn you: Even though Rogers remains positive about his situation, this is incredibly depressing (but a great read). Back in our newspaper days, we spent a summer in North Carolina on an internship, and met Rogers at a hoops game. He was one of the nicest pro athletes we’ve ever come across. (Charlotte Observer)
