You make the call:

“But now after this past season, it was, ‘Is he doing enough for the team? Is he working hard enough? You know, he’s got this girlfriend, so …,’ ” Newman continued. “I think that once he inherited the starting quarterback job and his relationship got into the national media attention, I think that that was something that definitely hurt and took away from Tony Romo being a great quarterback.”

Newman swears that the above quote was in reference to the perception of Romo, not how he feels about his undrafted QB from Eastern Illinois. The swift reaction is probably a wise PR move for Newman, since Dallas owner Jerry Jones made it quite clear recently (see: Terrell Owens) that he’s not a fan of his employees who trash the star QB.

For what it’s worth, J Simp is looking 47x hotter now that she has burned those high-riding grandma jeans.

There’s no trouble brewing between Terence Newman and Tony Romo (Star-Telegram)
