Culture Bracket Championship
2009 Culture Tournament April 3rd. 2009, 5:45pm
What does this clutch triple by Mario Chalmers have to do with the culmination of the Culture Bracket Championship? Not a damn thing. Except that Megan Fox might need a prayer to take down defending champ Erin Andrews.
No. 1 Erin Andrews vs. No. 1 Megan Fox
- Megan Fox (51%, 937 Votes)
- Erin Andrews (49%, 908 Votes)
Total Voters: 1,845

Great night of hoops in the NBA: Cavs visit the Magic, followed by Houston at the Lakers.
And as your Final Four appetizer: Seventeen years later, the Fab 5 remain relevant. If anyone goes to the reunion this weekend, take photos.

April 3rd, 2009 at 5:55 pm
Best picture ever.
April 3rd, 2009 at 5:58 pm
Pretty amazing restraint shown by TBL here. Never thought he’d turn down an opportunity to pimp EA or Fox.
April 3rd, 2009 at 6:00 pm
press conference is on!!!!!
April 3rd, 2009 at 6:10 pm
I saw Erin on the NCAA Slam-Dunk telecast and She IS HOTT …
She seems like she would be Really Fun-to-F— !!! IMO
April 3rd, 2009 at 6:11 pm
easiest. vote. ever. Don’t let TBL stuff the ballot box like he did in the semis. It should be Bar Rafaeli pulling the big upset.
April 3rd, 2009 at 6:13 pm
JErry ANgelo looks like a puppet from Mr. Rogers.

Anybody here watch eastbound and down…. I can’t stop fucking laughing
April 3rd, 2009 at 6:17 pm
I abstained because I disapprove of objectifying women.
Just kidding. Both of these chicks are overrated, and even though I think EA is more overrated, at least in blogfrica, I also think she’s hotter, so I went with her.
April 3rd, 2009 at 6:19 pm
tbl you should send the winner a picture of you mothers basement

jersey those werent hers.
April 3rd, 2009 at 6:31 pm
I agree with Bar being in the finals. She should have wiped the floor with Fox. Voted for EA and didn’t want to.
Can we just get a write-in going for Bar in the comments?
April 3rd, 2009 at 6:36 pm
I still don’t get this. What was so cultural about Megan fox in 2008? She was on Egotastic a lot? Was she even in a movie? This whole thing makes no sense to me.
April 3rd, 2009 at 6:37 pm
Dont care, every other scene, her tits are wonderful.
1 vote for Bar.

I swear, you and me are at the butt of a huge joke with this thing, I just don’t understand how a new event can be compared to a person.
April 3rd, 2009 at 7:04 pm
I’m right there with you. I know it was ripped off from something the NY Times did once upon a time, but it just seems like a more perplexing version of “Who’s Now?” to me.
April 3rd, 2009 at 7:06 pm
Just checked on IMDB. Apparently she was in something called “Whore,” so make your jokes.
She was also in “How to Lose Friends and Alienate People.”
April 3rd, 2009 at 7:07 pm
Bingo.
Fetish tournament, so much better.
April 3rd, 2009 at 7:08 pm
oh so it was a bio-doc?
April 3rd, 2009 at 7:10 pm
Oh yeah, that thing sank without a trace. Interesting casting, Jeff Bridges as Graydon Carter. I read the book a couple weeks back, it wasn’t a bad weekend read but it certainly didn’t have any “cinematic” value. I’d wager The Devil Wears Prada was to blame for that one getting greenlighted. Too bad Hollywood’s run by moneymen and not the creatives like back in the day. It’s all Michael Cimino’s fault.
April 3rd, 2009 at 7:12 pm
I just bought Mystery Science Theatre 3000 volume 14, my night is set.

April 3rd, 2009 at 7:19 pm
thank god there is good basketball on since it seems like my lame ass is stayin in tonight
i voted for fox for no apparent reason
April 3rd, 2009 at 7:20 pm
People like you are the reason she’s in the finals.
April 3rd, 2009 at 7:20 pm
nothing wrong with staying in, man … boozing, the internet and FNL should get you through the night.

what on earth is wrong with people?
how to explain shit like this?
April 3rd, 2009 at 7:24 pm
TBL i say the same thingg
april is usually a horrendous month for random, awful shooting sprees
April 3rd, 2009 at 7:27 pm
you know if only one other person had a loaded gun at that place he could have been stopped before he took 13 innocent people’s lives.
April 3rd, 2009 at 7:28 pm
And if no one had a gun no one would have gotten shot.
April 3rd, 2009 at 7:30 pm
+ Gun Control
/Someday’d
April 3rd, 2009 at 7:31 pm
mole- did you see this?
It is utterly fucking ridiculous how loaded the Pens are at goalie.
April 3rd, 2009 at 7:32 pm
true bsanders it is kinda sick how easy it is to get a gun
hestons dead lets move on
April 3rd, 2009 at 7:33 pm
so if he trapped the people in there and lit the place on fire or picked people off with a bow an arrow would you say “if there wasnt fire or bow and arrows no one would have gotten shot.”
what if he ran a bunch of people over?
April 3rd, 2009 at 7:35 pm
Well, technically, if he lit the place on fire or picked people off with a bow and arrow, no one would have gotten shot, so, yeah, I’d say that.
April 3rd, 2009 at 7:42 pm
ok for technicality sake if he trapped the people in the building and lit the place on fire would say “if there wasnt any fire no one would have died.”?
or if he had a bow and arrows would you say “if there wasnt a bow and arrow no one would have died.”
i do agree it is too easy to get a gun and i dont have no idea why someone would need a 50 cal sniper rifle. but guns are here. you might as well put them in the hands of sane people.
April 3rd, 2009 at 7:43 pm
sanders - i used to be a “if nobody had a gun …” problem is, tons of people have guns. illegally. gangs have guns. even if we stopped making weapons in this country … they’d still be brought in illegally, somehow.
im sure we’ll hear in the coming days that this guy was a disgruntled employee who just got laid off, or some shit along those lines
April 3rd, 2009 at 7:44 pm
if you outlaw guns then only outlaws will have them.
/corny saying but it fits
April 3rd, 2009 at 7:44 pm
Technically, if you were hit by an arrow from a bow, you still got shot. You were shot by an arrow.
April 3rd, 2009 at 7:45 pm
pretty cool: showing magic vs. bird 1979 game on espn2.
April 3rd, 2009 at 7:46 pm
just got my xbox back after three months of no gaming. fuck yes.
April 3rd, 2009 at 7:48 pm
No doubt. I’m not saying illegal arms dealing/importing is a fixable problem, but in general I’m always in favor of stricter gun laws. You can’t get rid of all the guns that are already on the street, but you shouldn’t be able to buy a gun at Wal-Mart. The same with hard drugs. You can’t get rid of the stuff that’s already made it in, but you can always make it more difficult to acquire it.
April 3rd, 2009 at 7:49 pm
red ring of death msu? thats why im going to get a ps3.

friday fun fact time:
the only podcast i listen to with regularity is actually a radio show:

financial guy. i need to balance out all the doom and gloom reality with his cheery, up-beat banter.
April 3rd, 2009 at 7:52 pm
Mrejr, get whatever system your friends have…all my friends have 360’s, and I have a ps3 (due to my ps2 crapping out and me having 3-4 rpgs I needed to beat).
Though if you get a PS3, I’ll definitely play you in Warhawk, bitches.
April 3rd, 2009 at 7:54 pm
I have a 360 and I like it so far. I think I’m going to mod it, which should be a doozy thanks to my (lack of) technical skills.
April 3rd, 2009 at 7:56 pm
I’ve had my 360 for about a year and a half and haven’t had anything go wrong with it yet. The only games I really play are Madden, Tiger and Halo 3, though. But fuck if all the little kids who play Halo online aren’t annoying as shit.
April 3rd, 2009 at 7:57 pm
This is my third one. The first was just fucked sideways and wouldnt play the discs, and the second was the red ring.
April 3rd, 2009 at 7:57 pm
most of the people on xbox who play madden are punks. i haven’t played in forever … but playing people online gets old quick. lot of 15 year old asshats
April 3rd, 2009 at 7:58 pm
tallguy i dont play warhawk i play madden…i will school you on some madden.
April 3rd, 2009 at 7:59 pm
msu i have to send mine out monday
it took them 3 fuckingg months to fix it?
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:00 pm
fight night round 3 is the ultimate 360 multiplayer game
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:01 pm
i like the ones who quit playing in the middle of a game when you are beating them by a touchdown in the 3rd qt.
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:01 pm
Nope didn’t see that, so they now have three Baker finalists in their system that were goalies. Curry is clearly going to be the backup next year, so Brown and the Russian they drafted this year will be fighting it out in WBS.
The Pens are loaded at goalie and defense in their system, but they’re lacking in scoring wingers.
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:02 pm
No. My warranty is a refund for the xbox, I don’t send mine in. I got mine from Circuit City and they went bankrupt right when mine crapped out so, it took some time to get the check in the mail. I also waited for about a month because I needed the money for other shit.
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:03 pm
Damn, Justin Long was older than me when he played a high school senior in Accepted. My chances of being a teen idol are still alive. And shit, Jonah Hill used to be a whale instead of just a really fat waterbound animal.
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:04 pm
I don’t play Madden…I find most sports games to be less than engaging. If I want to play sports, I go outside…much rather play real games. Warhawk’s a great multiplayer only game (think it’s really cheap now too), and I’ve got 2-3 rpgs I’m slogging through right now. If anyone likes SRPGs and have a PS3, if you don’t have valkryie chronicles, you ought to be shot. Easily the best game I played last year.
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:05 pm
Defnitely. They need to trade one of their goalies. Thiessen is probably the worst one. And they have 4 Hobey finalists actually. Brown is still with them isn’t he?
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:05 pm
my xbox 360 went down with a red ring so i bought another one same thing happened to that one. i am not going to send it in instead they just lost a customer. i knew there was a reason why i was always a ps guy. i can count on my hands how many times i have played the original xbox.
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:06 pm
I was counting Brown, who am I missing?
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:07 pm
i dont play war games if i want to partake in war i go near the texas-mexico border.
/assuming warhawk is a wargame.
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:09 pm
Fuck consoles, it’s all about Starcraft II and Diablo III. I’m using my tax return to buy a quad core with eight gigs of ram and a gig video card. Shit yeah.
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:09 pm
kinda hard to stick it to microsoft with the “they lost a customer” after you spent prob around 700 on 2 consoles
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:09 pm
street fighter for 360 is so fucking sweet. I probably won’t buy it because my brothers both have it but I loved that shit on nintendo and it’s even better now.
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:09 pm

April 3rd, 2009 at 8:09 pm
Johnson, Thiessen, Curry and Brown. I think Curry was a top 10 guy anyways.
And the Pens signed Joe Vitale from Northeastern. He had a rough year this year but he’s a good player. I honestly think they should sign Ryan Duncan, even though he’s about half a foot shorter than I am.
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:10 pm
i’m gettin a new laptop after i graduate to gget ready for diablo 3
i cant tell you how many hours me and my friends wasted on that game during high school
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:12 pm
Seeing as MLBTR is in there twice, no.
And I’m shocked my blog isn’t in there.
/sincere
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:12 pm
There was talk of that a while back.
I forgot about Johnson.
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:12 pm
bssm do you have any idea how much those games cost? i would rather spend the money on games for a platform that i know wont go ka-put. im not trying to stick it to microsoft its just i wont buy any more of their gaming consoles. and its not like they were counting on my money to survive anyway.
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:13 pm
God, I remember when the first Halo came out me and the guys in the house I lived with in college drilled holes through the upstairs floor to run the ethernet cord connecting the Xboxes. Good thing I majored in journalism and never had to crack a book in four years. Lot a good that degree was, though.
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:14 pm
Unfortunately, in something called the real world, bad people regularly acquire guns.
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:17 pm
I thought the same thing. This movie is not nearly as bad as I expected it to be so far.
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:18 pm
Hah, you turned my words back on me…except, you know, mexicans don’t have cool planes that can switch from hover to supersonic speed in .1 seconds, along with tanks, missile launchers, and capture the flag. Whereas I’m fairly confident I can put together a decent game of football.
/I do own NCAA football ‘08

how do you put someones quote in your comment?
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:23 pm
quote (their comment) /quote
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:24 pm
Hit the quote button, copy and past the text, then hit the /quote button. And voila.
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:24 pm
Copy/paste the comment into the comment box, highlight it, and then click the “quote” button.

April 3rd, 2009 at 8:28 pm
Smash Bros Melee on the Gamecube singlehandedly dropped my entire floor’s GPA by at least 1 point sophomore year AND cost me at least 3 controllers.
We got a message halfway into first semester “You’ve now played 4,995 versus matches…so you’ve played a penny for each match.”
Good times.
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:29 pm
I’m starting to think that taking the over on this Cavs/Magic game was a real bad idea…
Villanova -7.5 tomorrow looks like a real solid take.
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:30 pm
Time to break out my nerdy side: my favorite game of all time is this bad boy
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:31 pm
This Party Down show is pretty damn funny. Way better than Eastbound and Raunch.
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:32 pm
Cosmo, I gotta go with this one out of that series.

April 3rd, 2009 at 8:37 pm
I’m playing through Majora’s Mask right now…never finished it, and found the bonus disk for preordering Wind Waker.
But let’s be honest, Ocarina vs LttP is a wash…both are amazing games, though Ocarina has aged some.
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:37 pm
Whenever the rest of you guys get TBL’s intervention set up, let me know.
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:37 pm
TBL, I don’t know why you get so obsessed with Palin’s children.
Where was the link to Biden’s (adult) daughter getting filmed doing coke?
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:37 pm
Oh god yes BSSM: If I tried to do that one right now I’d be fucked.
I want a wii just so I can have the new Zelda game.
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:38 pm
Thought I’d mentioned that before, but yes.
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:38 pm
and then when sega came out…well sonic, mortal kombat, nba jam and virtua fighter were the games that everyone played
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:39 pm
Watched it for the first time last weekend. Agreed it is a little too egregiously raunchy, but it’s damn funny.
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:39 pm
Was it confirmed that was her Mike?
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:40 pm
tallguy how dare you. You can insult the Twins or Vikings, or say that Tyrel Reed is the best basketball on Earth, but let’s not be comparing Ocarina with any game on earth.
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:41 pm

April 3rd, 2009 at 8:42 pm
mrejr, you just named the three of the best games ever. sonic, MK, and nba jam are the games i grew up on. I lived with my two best friends this past summer and we would get hammered and play all of them. Lion King is also a great game.
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:42 pm
Just buy a used gamecube and get it for that…Twilight Princess came out on both…only differences are motion controls on Wii that are meh, and wii version is right handed, whereas the gc version is mirrored to left handed (more cannonical heh). Much cheaper, unless you want the wii for any other game.

Kramer, honestly, if I had to pick, I’d probably take Link to the Past over Ocarina. Both are in my top 5 games all time (along with Mario 64, Final Fantasy VI and Chrono Trigger), but LttP is just so…perfect.
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:45 pm
Good strategy there, Globe. Must’ve been where Notre Dame got the shitty idea.
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:46 pm
Are you fucking kidding me? The entire week after he was nominated the media was talking about how he was a bad pick.
The real reason Biden gets a pass on any family stuff is because of what happened to him.
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:48 pm
What happened to him?

the first metal gear solid on ps2 can not be fucked with. the opening scene where you are underwater had me going “woooooooowwww…look at the graphics!” that game was awesome

His wife and newborn were killed in a car accident. The thing that made him cry in the VP debate when Palin was dumb enough to pull the motherhood card on a guy who raised kids as a single dad.
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:50 pm

Tecmo Super Bowl >>>>>> any other game, ever. I used to think Mario 64 was the best game ever, but it has very little replay value since there’s no time and it’s pretty much impossible to die.

i dont know why everyone is so ready to hand them the title.

April 3rd, 2009 at 8:58 pm

April 3rd, 2009 at 9:00 pm
Very cool. Hopefully that money is either saved or used to pay down debt.
April 3rd, 2009 at 9:02 pm
Check out Nintendo8.com, they have flash versions of most NES games, including all the tecmo games. I’ve spent so many class hours trying to get 1000 yards rushing in a game with Bo, can only get 879 though.
Anyone on here have a storm? Is there an app for themes?

Goldberg. The Hebrew Hammer!
Definitely in my top five, the only movie I own on VHS and DVD
April 3rd, 2009 at 9:06 pm
Looks cool, but I’ve never really gotten into the NES emulators. Thankfully I still have a functioning NES. I have a 360 too, but I spend much more time playing Tecmo, Super Mario 3, etc than anything on the 360.

April 3rd, 2009 at 9:14 pm
I just gave it a go and had no luck running for a TD everytime with Cunningham — I mean QB Eagles. I could probably get the hang of it, or I could just hit the A/V button and beat down those poor New England Patriots. Man they sucked in 1991.

April 3rd, 2009 at 9:33 pm
It this the second to last episode of the season for FNL?
April 3rd, 2009 at 9:35 pm
I think so Ruck.
The season finale was pretty good. I can’t wait for next season.
April 3rd, 2009 at 9:41 pm
How about those Cleveland Cavaliers, down 34 right now. LeBron James continues his MVP season with a terrific night from the field, shooting 4 for 16.
April 3rd, 2009 at 9:42 pm
Yeah, I haven’t been keeping up on which episodes are showing on NBC, so I don’t want to accidentally drop any spoilers.
April 3rd, 2009 at 9:42 pm
Cavs are getting killed..
April 3rd, 2009 at 9:47 pm
who wants to bet the cavs get within 10 at least?
April 3rd, 2009 at 9:48 pm

April 3rd, 2009 at 9:50 pm

April 3rd, 2009 at 9:54 pm
I just sleep with them
/Chris Hansen’d
mrejr I’ll take that bet all day and all ngiht.
April 3rd, 2009 at 9:55 pm
HA! take that, howardryan6. I bet you wish you’d been born after 1992, and even more, that you didn’t live in Lubbock.
April 3rd, 2009 at 9:57 pm
Joe the Plumber on Bill Maher tonight, that should be interesting.
April 3rd, 2009 at 9:57 pm
i wonder how many time kobe has been beat by 40+ points this season..or in his career for that matter.
April 3rd, 2009 at 9:58 pm
why do people still talk to/about joe the faggit
April 3rd, 2009 at 9:59 pm
mrejr, game 6 was pretty close..and thats in the finals…after he let his team blow a 20 point lead in the 2nd half at home
/hates kobe

If you’re going to use a horrible slur, please spell it right.

One of the worst feelings I’ve had was losing the state championship by 1 point back in ‘98. Horrible feeling. Lost the game, made up drive 45 minutes back home and held a “pep rally” at midnight. One of the worst feelings in the world.
April 3rd, 2009 at 10:01 pm

April 3rd, 2009 at 10:01 pm
I guess that would work if I was born in 1992 or lived in Lubbock but, sadly, I don’t.
April 3rd, 2009 at 10:04 pm
Personally, I like to throw faggots in the fire
/not a slur
April 3rd, 2009 at 10:06 pm
after all the Megan Fox bashing that’s gone on were you’re gonna let her win?
April 3rd, 2009 at 10:07 pm
Joe sportin’ the Dungarees and work boots on stage. Nice choice.
April 3rd, 2009 at 10:07 pm
“The best record in the NBA means nothing because the Cavs lost a meaningless regular season game”. -Morons
April 3rd, 2009 at 10:12 pm
did lebron just say fuck it im not going back out there or what?
April 3rd, 2009 at 10:13 pm
Maybe Maher can slip in another “salute” to American troops.
/sill wish I had HBO
April 3rd, 2009 at 10:17 pm
well…mike nyc…i guess i can speak for all troops/former troops that after watching that clip..fuck bill maher.
“he is so briliant in religilous!” fuck him..we get it. you dont believe in god or jesus. good for you. i will never watch his show or anything with him again.
April 3rd, 2009 at 10:20 pm
anyone who just watched FNL … what a great fucking episode. that show’s so great that im already bitter it’s going off the air in two years.
if i could be on any TV show, that’s probably the one i’d pick. like lost more, and think the office crew would be hilarious to be around all the time … but i’d go FNL
April 3rd, 2009 at 10:22 pm

hoops? football? how’d you lose?
thanks for the loss, caps. fuck streak for cash and hockey. just took the hornets.
April 3rd, 2009 at 10:24 pm
are you on crack? seriously fnl? breaking bad, scrubs, house, a show people actually watch…
April 3rd, 2009 at 10:28 pm
David Frum can suck my ass through a straw.
April 3rd, 2009 at 10:29 pm
one of the worst feelings i ever had was having my mom show up drunk to one of my football games and then piss her pants and have my dad tell her if she ever showed up to one of my games like that again he would kill her.
/now you see why i dont drink
April 3rd, 2009 at 10:30 pm
You put those three shows together and they don’t have the talent on them that FNL does.
April 3rd, 2009 at 10:32 pm
How’s The Plumber doing, BSanders?
April 3rd, 2009 at 10:33 pm
I’m not sure I understand this fantasy. You’re saying that if you could be cast on any TV show, you’d choose FNL? What an odd thing to think/say. At least you’d get to live in Austin instead of LA or someplace in Canada.
April 3rd, 2009 at 10:33 pm
bryan cranston has more acting talent in his pinky than the whole cast of fnl does combined.
April 3rd, 2009 at 10:33 pm
thems fightin’ words
April 3rd, 2009 at 10:34 pm
I hate scrubs and house, never even heard of breaking bad.
@cass, do you have a huskie or just because you are a fan of the huskies?
Looking at dogs soon
April 3rd, 2009 at 10:35 pm
He was only on for about five minutes. He and Maher pretty much just glad-handed each other and conceded points to the other. It was pretty boring. Now Sam Donaldson and David Frum are getting into it, but I’m not sure Donaldson can keep up.
April 3rd, 2009 at 10:35 pm
Who’s all good on FNL? I don’t really buy Riggins as a great actor.
And Hugh Laurie is awesome.
April 3rd, 2009 at 10:36 pm
msu you need to start watching breaking bad. seriously.
April 3rd, 2009 at 10:36 pm
Ding, ding. After watching Wolverine, I’m really hoping they put the breaks on Taylor Kitsch’s movie star push. He has James Van Der Suck written all over him. I never knew Gambit was from Texas.
April 3rd, 2009 at 10:37 pm
I was not talking about acting talent. The other kind of talent.
That is Dubs, an Alaskan Malamute, the University of Washington’s mascot. I don’t have one, but I probably will at some point.
April 3rd, 2009 at 10:38 pm
Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton are fantastic in their roles. Adrianne Palicki is really good, kid who plays Saracen is really good, guy who plays Garrity is solid, Smash’s mom was great. Riggins is one note, Lyla’s terrible, Landry’s good but underused, Street and Smash were both fine in their roles.
April 3rd, 2009 at 10:39 pm
+1 fetch
April 3rd, 2009 at 10:39 pm
Kyle Chandler and Smash’s mom are awesome. can’t say I agree with you on the others.Except Landry I guess.
April 3rd, 2009 at 10:40 pm
exactly, BS.
you can insert yourself into a TV show. i’d totally go FNL. i dont even know what breaking bud is. frankly, im a bit of a TV snob. i either go full bore or dont give it a chance. people have really talked up that HIMYM show and i just can’t do it.
my rotation is full, really:
mon - GG, tues - office reruns, wed - lost, thurs - office, fri - FNL
between keeping up with the mags i subscribe to, trying to squeeze in the occasional book, hoops, the wife and the website … NO TIME, THERE’S NEVER ANY TIME!

April 3rd, 2009 at 10:52 pm
I watch most shows online nowadays, that way I can have other windows open doing shit. The only shows I watch while not doing anything else are Breaking Bad and Mad Men. Used to watch The Wire twice in a row back when it was on.

April 3rd, 2009 at 10:55 pm

April 3rd, 2009 at 11:10 pm
bsanders: I thought the middle guy on Maher looked like Aladdin. Who was that little weird dude?
April 3rd, 2009 at 11:13 pm
Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia was a great show, but has gotten worse every year. Still worth watching.
April 3rd, 2009 at 11:14 pm
He’s a conservative writer/pundit who’s one of the youngest editors in the history of The Atlantic. He’s remarkably intelligent and articulate, but he looked as if he’d popped too many Yellowjackets before getting on that panel. I think it’s safe to say, though, that David Frum must be one of the most miserable men on the planet. He didn’t crack a smile once.
April 3rd, 2009 at 11:18 pm

He made Mohammad Atta look like an encyclopedia salesman.
yeah, Frum was a buzzkill, as was poor Sam. I loved when Sam said he was 75, Maher said “look at how much hair you have”. He’s had the same squirrel on his head since 1973 (and I know Maher knew it).
April 3rd, 2009 at 11:20 pm
Wrong. Some of their season 4 episodes were their strongest yet. There was not a thing that could be improved in “The Nightman Cometh”.
April 3rd, 2009 at 11:22 pm
Dayman! Fighter of the Nightman, champion of the sun…
April 3rd, 2009 at 11:25 pm
“Who Pooped the Bed” was by far the best episode last year. Season 1 will never be matched.
April 3rd, 2009 at 11:28 pm
Danny DeVito wasn’t in season one! The Frank character adds a ton to the show.
April 3rd, 2009 at 11:36 pm
Yeah hes funny but go watch the Dead Guy and Abortion ones again.
April 4th, 2009 at 12:04 am
Season one is only seven episodes though.
It was all hands!

really surprised that this is 50-50 this late in the game. fox is putting together a villanova-like performance, circa 1985
