What Happens When You Put ‘Hot Sauce On That Ankle?’

If Reggie Bushs tender ankle could talk, it would probably say: Fuck you, Bart Scott.
In case you missed it this weekend, in the Ravens 35-22 throttling of the New Orleans Saints in the Bayou Scott made what appeared to be a strong open field tackle on the rookie. But upon further inspection, there may have been some malicious intent on the part of Scott:
Scott said Bush tried to cheap-shot him on an interception return in the first half, and you could tell there was something personal between the two.
Every time Scott tackled Bush, he would purposely throw Bush around. Bush had to leave the game with an ankle injury after Scott tackled him with 6:50 left in the fourth quarter. Scott tackled Bush around the ankles, and gave them a little twist before he let go.
“The media darling, aka the golden boy of the NFL, tried to take a cheap shot at me, so I told him I was going to put some extra on it,” Scott said. “He must be used to playing against these guys in practice. He can do all those shakes he wants, but I wasn’t going anywhere. I put a little hot sauce on that ankle.”
“He’s just a guy, simple as that,” Ravens outside linebacker Bart Scott said of Bush. “What did he get this week? He played like a kid who got chased from school.”
Everyone knows Bush is the Golden Boy of the league; whether or not he has earned that title is a topic for debate. But just who the hell is Bart Scott, besides a jealous cheap-shot artist?
After three years as a reserve with the Ravens, Scott saw more playing time last year, and this year, hes made a quantum leap and become one of the top linebackers in the AFC 51 tackles, five sacks, one interceptions who probably will make the Pro Bowl (nope, we’re not hinting that he’s juicing). Though he attended Southern Illinois, Scott seems to have soaked up the necessary Miami Hurricanes attitude employed by Ravens defensive leaders Ed Reed and Ray Lewis.
Openly talking about injuring somebody? He just made Lamar Thomas proud.

Reggie Bush is hands down the most overrated player in the NFL right now. Just move him to receiver now, because that is all he is, a glorified receiver out of the backfield. Bart Scott’s tackle was perfectly legal and Bush is a puss for letting his ankle get rolled. Actually maybe Bush should’ve just lateraled the ball like he did in the Rose Bowl. Freakin’ puss.
