College kids love themselves some sticky-icky. Too bad their projected 1st rounders.
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:07 am
quit two years ago when prices were between 4 and 5. thank god!
kathy ireland looks like she should be wearing a nascar hat and holding a budweiser.
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:12 am
If I was the kicker of UTEP I’d be blazin too.
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:14 am
between field goal and pat attempts at that!
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:15 am
Rough time to be a boat owner.
Or a great time to purchase one. My buddy and I have been shopping a few months now for something to fish this summer and people are practically giving quality boats away.
11,000 people in Ohio got free Domino’s pizzas by accident
So the “bailout” deal on the comercial isn’t true?
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:19 am
Never buy a new boat, especially in this market. Ill – Where do you guys do most of your fishing?
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:20 am
my dad told me he was gonna live on his boat and catch fish all day if shit hit the fan
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:23 am
The inheritance/estate tax debate rages again. They should kill that thing, the people getting the biggest estates avoid that shit anyway.
April 24 was my 2 year anniversary. Quit the day we found out we were prego. My wife let me take my fresh new pack of Camel Lights to the garage for one last drag. Then she ran the remainder under the faucet. 10.50 for PFunks is CRIMINAL!
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:24 am
Dirty – I grew up on the Chesapeake Bay, so I do a lot out there. But over the last few years I’ve been doing more and more Ocean fishing.
We aren’t looking for a new boat. We’re looking for to upgrade our current boat. Something like a 29′ Seahawk, built in the 90’s with limited hours.
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:25 am
i never would have started had it not been for the marines. before that i smoked when i drank. i guess it was only a matter of time before i had to buy a pack for myself.
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:32 am
I do engage in the occasional cigar.
/guilt ridden
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:34 am
Hey TBL, I was reading some of the comments last night.. are you gonna create a Streak for the Cash group?
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:34 am
quitting smoking was the hardest thing to give up. at first, i had to cut back on coffee when i gave it up. i had a big mug of starbucks the first morning and was wired. been smoke-free for about 5 years now. still miss it after a gigantic meal, and the first crisp morning in the fall.
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:35 am
everybody’s trying to quit smoking as a result of the new prices
$33 for a carton down here
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:35 am
i blew up like kathy ireland after i quit. ok maybe not that bad but im working on it now.
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:38 am
We live out by Annapolis and were starting to look for a boat, but baby Sanchez has put that on hold for a couple years.
Never smoked, but used to fake smoking cigarettes in the Navy to get a break. Taking 15 minutes to drink a Coke and eat some Munchos was frowned upon, but for some reason firing up the cancer stick was okay.
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:40 am
i hear its like that in the restaurant business too. you cant take a break unless you smoke.
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:43 am
Boy I’m tired, up all night celebrating that huge NIT Championship (ok, I didnt watch one second).
I have a hard time believing cold turkey only has 3% success, unless they consider the gum “medication.” Sparty, I still break down every couple of months and smoke a couple, I think thats acceptable.
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:44 am
PADMA!!!!!!!!
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:45 am
I used the gum for the first 2-3 days.
I guess that probably doesn’t qualify for cold turkey.
My wife did go cold with the seed to think about and boy was our house a love in for 2-3 weeks.
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:51 am
dont know how to create a streak for cash group, but i can try to look into it.
3-0-1 to start the month, picked the Caps tonight.
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:51 am
yeah, Doritos became my best friend again.
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:52 am
oooo yeah.
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:54 am
Three weeks for me now, using the patch. Last night I dreamed about chain smoking, and boy, was it good…
Having said that, some cravings are still there, but I am determined to remain smoke-free.
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:55 am
i quit just before the 2004 Yankees playoff meltdown. it was a rough week.
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:58 am
tommyp- the patch will definitely give you some fucked up dreams!
April 3rd, 2009 at 8:59 am
everytime i got on a plane to go to iraq i had a commit lozengen in my mouth. not to quit…to have nicotine in my system before we stopped in europe. loved that smoke right off the plane.
April 3rd, 2009 at 9:00 am
TBL, all you do is go to your streak page, you’ll see the tabs for “Make Pick, My Entry, Leaderboards, Game Blog, then My Groups. If you click on that you can create or join a group.
April 3rd, 2009 at 9:01 am
I quit smoking by chewing tobacco, then quit chewing tobacco. I thought it was easier because you can’t really throw a wad of tobacco in your mouth at bars, at work, etc. Eventually, the cravings went aways; except on the golf course, fishing and hunting.
April 3rd, 2009 at 9:02 am
Quitting smoking is so frustrating. Luckily, I’m clean for more than a year. Once I quit for 4 years, but during that time, I got hooked on the gum. Man I loved the gum. I went back to secret smoking, and rage smoking.
There is a reason, though, that they sell you 20 ciggies at once, or 200. After you quit, and you just want one, or two, or one with a shot of booze, or whatever, you’ve still got 19 more staring you in the face.
April 3rd, 2009 at 9:03 am
you’re a vet texans?
April 3rd, 2009 at 9:04 am
I quit smoking cigarettes cold turkey because of Bronchitis. I still smoke weed and cigars occasionally.
April 3rd, 2009 at 9:05 am
yeah i got out jan 07
April 3rd, 2009 at 9:05 am
Exactly Dirtheavy (except on the rage smoking, not sure what that is), why can’t I buy a 2-pack. I go out drinking, smoke a couple, and thats that, no more for a few months.
Temporarily increasing your dank intake also helps when first quitting.
April 3rd, 2009 at 9:06 am
cigs are still pretty cheap here ($5), but i’m pretty sure i would quit if it cost me over 10 bucks for a pack.
April 3rd, 2009 at 9:07 am
thanks for servin.
April 3rd, 2009 at 9:10 am
thank you for supporting
April 3rd, 2009 at 9:17 am
I actually take it off like clockwork at 8 pm every night. Last night was the first dream I had where I smoked. And I haven’t really had any f-d up dreams. But I’m not completely smoke-free…Like Tampa Bo, I still play around with the 420.
April 3rd, 2009 at 9:20 am
I loved Europe for their 10 packs outta the machines on the streets. I always wondered why that trend didnt exist here.
Our local rag ran an article the other day about bars selling singles due to the high price of packs. Raises all kinds of tampering and taxation issues.
April 3rd, 2009 at 9:20 am
Rage smoking – becoming enraged, and needing to go smoke a cigarette to solve your problems, when your problem is the fact that you smoke cigarettes in the first place, and that the drug coursing thru your system is driving your actions.
When I was a kid, kids could buy smokes, and they cost about a dollar a pack. When I was in junior high, the convenience store across the street from the school got shut down because they were breaking packs up and selling ciggies for a nickel to junior high kids. This was just before the change in law, the 18 year change.

@tommy/tampa – two worst words you’ll ever have dropped on you – HAIR TEST. ended my love affair.
April 3rd, 2009 at 9:25 am
Good lord herd thats fucked up, who gives a fucking Hair test?
April 3rd, 2009 at 9:28 am
Blockbuster does I believe.
I don’t work for them but thats just evidence of how accessible the testing is for all levels of employment.
I am a contractor and some of the contracts i work on require the test.
All casino/money jobs usually require it.
April 3rd, 2009 at 9:31 am
Well fuck that Industry and Fuck Blockbuster.
April 3rd, 2009 at 9:33 am
Ditto.
April 3rd, 2009 at 9:49 am
Fortunately, I work somewhere where it’s not an issue.
April 3rd, 2009 at 9:53 am

Obama will pick the Cavs and Lakers for the NBA Finals, but wouldn’t offer up a pick for the England-Ukraine WC Qualifier? Gutless!!!
