Free From a Staph-Infected Locker Room, Wealthy Solider Prepared to Truck NFC Safeties
NFL, NFL Draft April 7th. 2009, 5:45pm
Forty-four games into his checkered pro career, Kellen Winslow Jr. is now the richest tight-end in NFL history. Twenty million guaranteed for a prickly-yet-talented guy who will be 26 at season’s start? Hmmm. Hope he doesn’t mind rebuilding. New coach, new faces on defense, and most pressing, no new QB, yet. Smells like five wins.
Kansas State’s Josh Freeman, anyone?

I hope the Bucs enjoy the bottom of the NFC South, because that’s where they’ll be for the next 2 years.

Some great personnel moves by the Bucs this offseason, enjoy the basement of the NFC South. No coach, no QB, no defence, not good.

on the bright side we get to see winslow go completely apeshit when they are 0-10 and he has 6 rec 75 yd 1 td. that will be a monumental break down. it will make terrell owens look like the greatest teammate evar!

yes he is…he got a guy who, by all accounts, MAYBE has 2 years left in the league, $20 mil guaranteed.
and yea, winslow couldn’t get open for shit last year. he’s got another year left tho. and TB is just spending to spend…they had move cap room than salary.
