Sponsor a Baseball Reference Page – on the Cheap!
1-liner, Baseball April 15th. 2009, 12:30pmBaseball Reference: It’s a terrific place to collect stats. And now, anybody can sponsor specific pages. Somebody’s already gobbled up Matt Holliday’s page (smart marketing move, considering Holliday’s going to be trade bait this summer), and Curt Schilling’s is gone, too. We hope to grab one in the coming week. (ESPN.com)

TBL, how about an update on the eToys.com IPO?

Is Chris Young’s page available?

It’s been that way for at least 6 years, if not longer. I realize you are just linking to an ESPN article, but this is waaaaaayyyyy old news.

And TBL…if TBL is going to sponsor a page, you should put it up for a vote. Solicit nominees, then cull the list for a vote.

TBL, Ken Caminiti’s page is still up for sponsorship.

Brett Garnder’s page is even sponsored. I’m assuming everyone’s page is sponsored.

@Hernia, nah, i’d bet less than 1/2 of all players are sponsored. Now,as far as current players, it’s definitely a substantially larger percentage

and if you’re quick, you can get the Bob Ueker page…that sponsorship expires on 4/20/09.

Someone should sponsor the page of that wide receiver that everyone is going to draft.

Danny Graves even has a sponsor. But that boozing animal Jesse Orosco does not.

I will pile on and say you’re late to the party, TBL, only so the incessant damnation will get others to check out the site. It’s great. For minor league numbers, however, thebaseballcube is the #1.
Some really good players opened up over the winter on tB-R. It’s always fun to see how much a certain player will cost and how every Red Sox and Yankees player is snatched up.

Nick Swisher’s page must be worth a lot because he’s a legitimate 2-way player.
