Eastern Conference Playoffs Afternoon Double-Header
NBA April 18th. 2009, 12:30pm
Pace yourself, it’s going to be a long day. The first half of an NBA quadruple-header begins in the East as the Celtics and Bulls will kick off the 2009 Edition of the NBA Playoffs at 12:30 LeBron Standard Time on ESPN. Kevin Garnett is out until training camp so the Celtics will look to Big Baby Davis. Or they’ll just pray that Paul Pierce can continue to carry them because Glen Davis isn’t that good. The Celtics took the season series 2-1, but the one loss was without KG. Can the Bulls pull off the upset?
Once Boston and Chicago finish what they’re doing, you’ll need to adjust your television set so that ABC is showing in your living room. Everyone’s pick to come out of the East, the Cleveland Cavaliers will start a 7-game series against the Pistons. Once the Cavs have finished embarassing the once-proud Pistons (I hear the Cavs are pretty good at home.) you’ll have a couple hours to eat and nap before the Western Conference playoffs begin.

Why is the Celtics-Bulls game not on national TV? I’m stick watching NY Rangers vs. Washington Caps on NBC instead. Cool game, never have minded the NHL playoffs.
