Chicago 115, Boston 118: First thought – well, Boston got lucky. The Celtics are done. Chicago gives up 21 offensive rebounds (the Bulls only had 20 assists) and Boston only wins because of some late-game Ray Allen heroics.

The flip side, of course – without a unbelievable shooting performance from Ben Gordon (rest of his statline: one rebound, one steal, no turnovers, no assists), would the Bulls have gotten blown out?

We weren’t sold on the Bulls winning this series after the game one win, but we are now. Rajon Rondo – 19 points, 16 assists, 12 rebounds, five steals – was outstanding, but on the road he’s more turnover-prone, averages one fewer assist and nearly two fewer points per game. Rose will probably be looking for payback after never really getting started in game two due to first-half foul trouble. If Paul Pierce – who doesn’t look anything like the dominant, take-over guy he was in last year’s Finals – can’t put together an offensive gem in game three, a blow-out wouldn’t surprise us.

Dallas 84, San Antonio 105: So much for containing Tony Parker with the speedy Jose Juan Barea – the French Flash scored an efficient 38 points on 16-22 shooting and the Spurs cruised to even the series at 1. Dirk shot just 4-for-13.

Anyone else pissed there was only two games on last night, and tonight, one game starts at 10 and another at 10:30? What is this, MLB?
