Welcome to New York, Mark Sanchez
Media Gossip/Musings, NFL May 19th. 2009, 9:40am

The future of the New York Jets, the escalating cultural phenomenon known as Mark Sanchez, hasn’t thrown an NFL pass, yet he’s featured in June’s GQ. The photos display the qualities ESPN’s Trent Dilfer was talking about prior to the draft. They also confirm the fact that John Stocktons are in again, and board shorts are sooooo 2004.
The scuttlebutt is that the Draft’s No. 1 pick, $41-million man Matt Stafford of the Lions, will be featured in the August issue of Good Housekeeping.

His legs are as hairy as Robin Williams’ arms! But from the waist up? Yes please!

May 19th, 2009 at 9:51 am
you need to stop by tomorrow night for the game.

Nice Irish, TBL can’t help it, those smoldering eyes. At least we can make fun of these photos when he’s struggling to stay on a roster in 5 years.

Leinart 2.0

Sanchez is such a tool. Hes gonna suck. New York has ruined this guy. At least he doesnt have a handbag fetish like Sean Avery.
May 19th, 2009 at 9:56 am
he does kinda look like the hoff, they should have tried to get him wasted and feed him wendys.
May 19th, 2009 at 9:57 am
coop, +1. These pics will live on forever, sort of like Joey Harrington’s piano playing pics.
How do you spell overexposed hype machine?
SANCHEZ
It is unbelievable how meteorically this guy’s stock has risen, both inside and outside the football world. His marketing team deserves a huge pay raise, and no doubt they will be picking up more clients with what they’ve done with Sanchez.

I like the girl.

TBL -
Did you see Wall finally made it official he is heading to Kentucky. If meeks comes back they are 4 players over.

With Sanchez and A-ROD getting all this embarrassing media love, I’m just waiting for David Lee to pose for Vanity Fair
/no homo’d

This is going to be ugly circle leading to nowhere in the then. Not only is he going to suck, the debate is going to be does he suck because the Jets suck, or becuase he just sucks.
May 19th, 2009 at 10:02 am
you need to stop by tomorrow night for the game
what kind of food will you provide? I like pizza
May 19th, 2009 at 10:03 am
What I really wanna know is what happens if this Jets team goes to the playoffs?
May 19th, 2009 at 10:03 am
Yes, how terrible for him. He and everyone he knows will be stuck looking at those pictures of him 22, in incredible shape and cavorting with scantily clad models. What a terrible fate.

This season is not going to be any fun. I can’t be on the Bills bandwagon anymore cuz those fucks got TO. My Chiefs are trying to put a team on the field, but that’s going to be like three years away. I need another team to jump on for another season.
I think I want to root for the Lions!
Go LIONS!!!
May 19th, 2009 at 10:04 am
First a picture showing off A-Rods guns and now these!! Must be my lucky day!!!
/clown
May 19th, 2009 at 10:05 am
He’s Young-n-Attractive, SEEMS like a no-brainer to me IMO
And to THOSE who are SO SURE he’s going to suck in the NFL …
You’re Very Wrong and be prepared to choke on those-thoughts
May 19th, 2009 at 10:06 am
LOL

cmon Sandibalz. We need all the Bills support we can on here. And to tell me you are rooting for the Lions now? brahahaahaaa

anyone just hear that artie lange story?
he and his buddies went trolling for whores way back when. they picked up 2 girls, and one was heavyset and carrying mcdonald’s.
him and his buddies get BJs, and then the chicks are leaving, and one is still clutching the mcdonald’s bag. she hadn’t eaten it.
artie asks what’s up with the mcdonalds? she says, “I gotta shit on a guy later on tonight.”
May 19th, 2009 at 10:08 am
If they do make the playoffs it won’t be with Sanchez, which means it would be a combination of Clemens and Ainge, which means the NFL should be close to folding.
May 19th, 2009 at 10:09 am
that’s some real wishful thinking.
May 19th, 2009 at 10:11 am
You sound a little contentious this a.m., ty.
May 19th, 2009 at 10:11 am
Irish - yeah the lions bit was a joke, I can’t root for them. I guess I can continue to root fo the Bills as long as TO doesn’t turn it into a disaster. This is going to sound crazy but I think this actually helps Lee Evans get a few more of those 70yd TDs he’s good for.
May 19th, 2009 at 10:12 am
Wall to Kentucky post at 11?
May 19th, 2009 at 10:14 am
but I think this actually helps Lee Evans get a few more of those 70yd TDs he’s good for
i hope so
May 19th, 2009 at 10:17 am
duder - before 11
May 19th, 2009 at 10:17 am
This is certainly swaying in my favor. I predicted Sanchez would be wearing a leather jersey by Week 5.
May 19th, 2009 at 10:20 am
Way to jump on that early Hernia, its down to even money as of this morning
May 19th, 2009 at 10:27 am
While I think Sanchez won’t be the savior so many think he’ll be, I don’t see what the fuss is all about. If I were that young, that rich and could hang out with some one that hot–read: bang–why wouldn’t you.
May 19th, 2009 at 11:25 am
TBL you posted here once asking about the worst fans, and this proves again that they are the Jets fans even more than the Philly fans, but at least not as many of the Jets fans are douchebag loser sadists. Now they think Sanchez like any new quarterback with promise, even before he has thrown an NFL pass, is the next Joe Willie Namath, who himself made a mockery of the NFL Hall of Fame with his mediocre career stats all because of his single NFL honour with his guarantee in that upset Super Bowl win. I’ll join the camp that would love to see Sanchez flop in New York and then be traded years down the road to succeed somewhere else.

While I think Sanchez won’t be the savior so many think he’ll be, I don’t see what the fuss is all about.
He went to USC. He plays in New York. He’s not ugly. Ask Jason Sehorn. All you have to do with those “credentials” is show up and you are automatically considered a God of Football, even though you don’t really have to prove it or back it up.
May 19th, 2009 at 1:10 pm
Hey, Sehorn had that one good play in the NFL. That counts for something.
May 20th, 2009 at 1:02 am
Anybody but Giants’ fans and other New York homers (that includes you TBL Godfather and Ty Duffy) want to defend Jason Sehorn as one of the players most undeserving of the extreme media attention he got even considering his solid career stats AND compared to his peers with similar solid stats who were not in NYC?
All the credit though also in that playoff shutout of MN when amazingly he did shut down Randy Moss big time.
