Shaq’s Post-NBA Career: Looks Like It’ll be Law Enforcement, or Perhaps TV Sports Analyst
1-liner, Media Gossip/Musings, NBA May 19th. 2009, 4:45pmShaq: “I’ve been an athlete that’s sort of in advance; always thinking. After basketball I’d love to have my own radio show, my own TV show. So I just wanted to come up here and learn from Matt and Dave.” One day, one scoop for the Big Announcer: “By the end of the day Monday, O’Neal had already snagged the first scoop of his budding journalism career. He got the first on-camera interview with Greg Paulus since the Duke point guard announced his decision to play football at Syracuse University this fall.” (Post-Standard)

I just found out that My Name Is Earl is canceled. I’m pissed, especially considering the utter shit that was kept on the NBC schedule instead.

I never missed an episode of My Name is Earl, but I expected it to be cancelled after about 7 episodes. I made a commitment, and I honored it.
They’d run out of things to do. I wonder if Jason Lee shaves the ’stache now, or if he’s just become Earl.

I just read a brief story about it where they are pitching it to ABC, a la Scrubs.

They may have run out of things to do, but it was still better than Parks and Recreation, which was apparently picked up.
To borrow from David Spade, I liked Parks and Recreation the first time I saw it. When it was called The Office.
