Cleveland faces Orlando tonight in a must-win Game Five. No one is blaming LeBron. No one. Not even the stupid. Arguing against it is a fatuous waste of time.
Blame Danny Ferry for not turning Wally Szczerbiak’s contract into something useful. Where would the Cavs be had they not stumbled through abject failure into LeBron James?
Blame Mike Brown for not being a particularly inspired coach.
And, of course, LeBron will stay in Cleveland after 2010. Why would he want to go to New York to play under Mike D’Antoni with Steve Nash and another star? He can entrust his career to Danny Ferry. Play grabass with Anderson Varejao. Go to the Rock N’Roll Hall of Fame whenever he wants. It’s a great life, in Cleveland.

My sister gave me her way to quit smoking. Smoke a pack of reds in one hour. You’ll never want to touch the things again. I think I got thru about 12 or 13 in about 45 mins or so and just vomited.
The smell alone gives me dry heaves.

let me clarify that. Detroit only has salary committed to one guy after 2010, and that’s Tayshaun Prince. So they are set up to make a play for 3 free agents out of that draft class, as long as they commit to sucking this next season.
They’re in better shape than the Knicks to give Lebron what he wants - except for they’re being Detroit.

Good God man…when Nelson comes back healthy next year, the Magic could be looking at a long run of dominance in the East.
The Celtics may as well blow it up now. There’s no way, even with KG, that they can stop this team.
The Cavs are going to be like the 90s/early 2000s Atlanta Braves of the NBA with LeBron there. They are a great regular season team but once you play them multiple games in a row in a series, it’s just too easy to figure out a strategy to isolate LeBron’s teammates into stupid decisions.
As a team they’re just simply not THAT good.
