I couldn’t believe it when I saw it. Kudos to the guy who captured it.
I’ve worked as a T.D. before. I’ve known plenty of people who had that shot up on the preview monitor and accidentally switched to that. I just can’t believe that they stayed with that shot for 14 seconds.

arkbadger, that was a tough one last night.
I don’t know where this LSU team has been all year. They have been winning with small ball and great starting pitching, while their defense and power has been suspect.
Now, they’re playing great defense and hitting it out the park, but Ranaudo and Coleman have been suspect. I know Coleman only gave up one run, but that was his shakiest performance in weeks, and we got bailed out by one bad call.

i could tell after the first couple innings, especially when we loaded the bases up in the second and couldn’t get at least 1 run in. that is the second time this year that coleman has raked us across the coals, not nearly as bad as the first one i sat through back in april, still rough though.
what sucks is that now the hogs have to beat lsu twice, which is about as tough a task as they could get. last night’s game was the difference maker for sure. i’ll give it to your squad though, a couple years ago when you got rid of smoke i thought it was going to take a couple years, but now 2 years in a row in the series, and pretty much smooth sailing to the final series.
that arguement between van horn and the 1st base ump they showed was awesome when van horn said “at least tell me you made the wrong call.” classic

now that the lsu-arkansas game got moved to saturday i may have to re-think my pledge to never go to death valley for a game again. saturday makes it a whole lot easier to travel than a friday.

Laughed my ass off when I saw that. As a Longhorn, I’m enjoying the CWS so far. Tonight has me real worried though. That ASU pitcher is fucking good, and we’re trying our best to give away games lately.
