Some people shouldn’t be allowed to procreate. There needs to be licensing, policies and procedures, standards, etc…If you don’t meet certain criteria you do not get to raise a child
July 6th, 2009 at 8:27 am
– hopefully it can prevent it.
Ill see your linkage and raise you a fat britney link – who ate all the croissants?

Casey Kasem was great on Saved by the Bell

They’re trying to trade him right now. They’re desperate to trade him. They wanted him to leave. They really, really didn’t want him to pick up that 12.5 million dollar option. They wanted Paul Millsap to take his place, and they wanted to sign him for mid-level money only.
You can also have Kirilenko in the deal, but you need to be able to match salaries, which is difficult, because they make a lot.

Did you see the last possible landing place? I think cursed would have an aneurysm if Boozer ended up back in Cleveland.

Now that would be funny. It looks like he’s headed to Detroit, still, as long as Detroit doesn’t try to make them take Hamilton and his unconscionable extension (thanks Joe Dumars).

oh ok. I didnt know it was a player option. I thought the jazz were stupid enough to offer him a contract and regretted it when he actually accepted it
July 6th, 2009 at 8:48 am
he’s not going to detroit.
July 6th, 2009 at 8:48 am
anyone want to go to the MJ Memorial? Only 500K!

Lenny Cooke…. the MOST OVERRATED BASKETBALL PLAYER in north jersey history. Charmin soft.
July 6th, 2009 at 8:53 am
The most valuable asset in at least 90% of NBA trades is an expiring contract. Makes you wonder how NBA owners made their money to begin with. Other than Mark Cuban, who managed to swindle Yaaaahoooooo! out of $6 billion during the dot.com craze.

That ESPN story on the soccer player is wierd. If you read the article you wonder how he was found guilty.
July 6th, 2009 at 9:00 am
Didn’t know any of that stuff about Lance Armstrong
July 6th, 2009 at 9:01 am
fuck the celtics.
July 6th, 2009 at 9:07 am
fuck the celtics.
If you hate the Celtics, their not offering a contract to poor Leon Powe should make you hate them more. You should be heartened a bit by the Spurs coming offer to Big Baby, which the Celts won’t match. They’re going to be thin all year, with old men on the frontcourt.
And to clear up, yes, Glen Davis will be the center, and Tim Duncan will be the PF.

Seems like his lawyer thought the same, and didn’t mount a defense of any kind. Sad though, that you can be convicted by a person with no memory of the incident, and with somebody else’s semen and not yours. It seems ultra sketchy.
July 6th, 2009 at 9:12 am
agreed.

How Casey Casem survived this celebrity death onslaught so far is beyond me….
/cue up the “goddamn death request” audio link
July 6th, 2009 at 9:20 am
It makes zero sense. I would think he would have an excellent shot at getting that overturned, but after reading the piece I have no clue how he was convicted in the first place.
July 6th, 2009 at 9:24 am
It makes zero sense.
It was written with an obvious bias toward the kid, though. That said, it reads like the judge acted improperly, and that the girl was lying. To what end she was lying, I just don’t understand.

Is Cheryl Tweedy related to Jeff Tweedy?
Nah, she looks happy.
/actually a huge Wilco fan
//new album is outstanding
July 6th, 2009 at 9:31 am
Agreed.

I’m so sick of Kendra Wilkinson. I cringe when I see commercials of her show, I used to feel bad for Hank Baskett; his girl constantly taking off her top and acting like an idiot. Now, I think he must enjoy having his girl ho around. What a fool. I would pay for Gamboa’s next relative to come over from Cuba if he would throw a combination to her body and spare the world these idiots’ kid.

I agree. This kid had/has a lot of talent, and it really speaks volumes when an entire community comes to bat for a kid like this. It just sucks that any time there’s alcohol and sex it winds up being someones fault. If you can’t remember anything that happened, and there’s sperm OF SOMEONE ELSE the lawsuit should be thrown out.

How many other #4 receivers that aren’t on your favorite team do you know?

Knicks are fortunate not to have signed Kidd.
