We do not know why Stephon Marbury is crying.
I can’t see the video, but I did hear the audio yesterday. Starbury is approaching Mike Tyson crazy level. I’m pretty sure he’d been smoking rock before that video.

Lloyd Carr randomly striking up a friendship with Russell Crowe is one of the most underplayed weird occurrences of this decade.

the mega-powers! dumbest handshake of all time.

“dont ask what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country.” how times have changed. People have a sense of entitlement now.
July 29th, 2009 at 8:16 am
Arrest my brain now for even thinking about what I would have done with Megan Fox as a teen…
July 29th, 2009 at 8:16 am
they both don’t care too much for talking to the media. makes sense. but belichick and jon bon jovi- now that is weird.
July 29th, 2009 at 8:20 am
Bon Jovi is a Giants fan, so there is at least a connection there.

ND training camp starts today… I’m in a good mood…. you can still suck it sparty
July 29th, 2009 at 8:30 am
Could the NCAA get any more heavy-handed? Sending a memo the morning of an event warning coaches to stay away is the slimiest way to go about “policing” recruiting. And of course, it had “nothing” to do with the fact that the dinner was honoring NCAA public enemy #1, Sonny Vaccaro…nope, nothing at all to do with that.
I think Self is super slimy, and Hewitt is…well, I enjoy Hewitt because he recruits well enough to keep his job, but sucks as a basketball coach, so I’ve got no problem with him. Still, the NCAA is at fault in this case.

“We’re a sue first, ask questions later kind of an organization,”
Classy quote from the Chicago management company, suing a woman over a tw&&t four people probably saw, before they sued her about it.
July 29th, 2009 at 8:36 am
Oh good. i get another week until i can suck it, er something.
July 29th, 2009 at 8:38 am
.
the sad thing is it’s all across the board now, all political leanings have some sense of entitlement for some facet of American living. it will be such a culture shock if people have to change the way of living.
July 29th, 2009 at 8:40 am
I’d love to see the roundup pic from behind.

thought about doing a post on this, but it’s a bit nerdy: Me, CRM, Duffy and Hernia are going to be going to a baseball game in NY in August. there was no plan to make it a ‘tbl meet up’ but i figured i’d put this out there to anyone who lives in/around NY – email me if interested in attending and i’ll give you the date/game

Details of the Tom Brady episode on Entourage, which happens in two weeks.
Here’s a preview if you didn’t read the article. Nothing happens for twelve minutes, Tom Brady has a short cameo where he awkwardly says lines to Turtle or Drama, everyone laughs, Nothing happens for twelve more minutes.
July 29th, 2009 at 8:43 am

July 29th, 2009 at 8:43 am

July 29th, 2009 at 8:51 am
Yea playing a pick-up game of basketball on your free time is so dumb. You are dumb. I am dumb. TBL is dumb. I am guessing nearly every man on this board is so dumb.
July 29th, 2009 at 8:52 am
I’m dumb.
July 29th, 2009 at 8:52 am

didn’t aaron boone hurt his leg playing basketball? and his career was over?
July 29th, 2009 at 9:00 am
irish – we can have our own party down here. TBL is very north eastcoast bias.
July 29th, 2009 at 9:01 am
contrary to popular belief players do have careers after they leave the yankees.
he actually had to retire last season due to heart problems, but he played decently for a few years after 2004.
July 29th, 2009 at 9:02 am
The Yankees terminated his contract and that’s how hey were ab;e to get Rodriguez.
I’m wondering if Braylon was in violation of his contract.
July 29th, 2009 at 9:03 am
indians grabbed boone as soon as they could. they dumped some bum named omar vizquel so they could sign the white guy.
July 29th, 2009 at 9:04 am
didn’t aaron boone hurt his leg playing basketball? and his career was over?
Aaron Boone signed with the Astros this year, and then had heart surgery.

i always thought that was kinda cool. i mean, sure he picked the wrong side, but i dunno…
i always liked lllllllloyd. classy dude.
July 29th, 2009 at 9:16 am
But what kind of hat is he wearing?
Same thing happened to Nate Odomes, like 5 minutes after he signed a huge free agent contract with the Seahawks.
July 29th, 2009 at 9:28 am
Fail… It was Peralta that sent Omar away. The Peralta that had won back to back IL batting titles and was seemingly ready for the bigs.
However, Boone was a colossal failure in Cleveland. Awful, just awful.
Amongst many bad decisions by Shapiro, letting Omar go when he did was not one of them.

I don’t think any of you are paid millions of dollars to use your body for an athletic competition. If I’m wrong then yes, I do think you are dumb.

Braylon is just embarrassed that they threw him an alley oop to jam and he dropped it, fell to the ground and hurt himself.
