It’s been a pretty cluttered sports weekend, but you’d be hard-pressed to find a sexier story than this blockbuster from New York Post gossip maven Liz Smith: Tom Brady’s ex-girlfriend, actress Bridget Moynahan, is three months pregnant and the Patriots quarterback is the father.
BRIDGET Moynahan, the star of ABC’s “Six Degrees,” is expecting and the father is New England Patriot All-Pro quarterback Tom Brady, although the couple is no longer together.
Moynahan, 36, is more than three months along and “healthy and excited” about the impending arrival, said her spokeswoman, Christina Padadopoulos.
So much for all those rumors about her being sad and frail, huh? And what will Brady’s new paramour, supermodel Gisele Bundchen, think of this? Can Matt Leinart please pick up the white courtesy phone? It’s Tom Brady and he needs your assistance.

The religious angle: His Uncle (Dad’s brother) is the Principal and a Christian Brother at De La Salle (the football power) and I’m fairly certain he comes from a devout Catholic family. Well since he’s having a kid with a girl named Bridget Moynahan and the baby will be as Irish as Paddy’s Pig, his mom won’t have to worry about the bab being raised in another faith.

They should have been more careful, but accidents do happen. Bridget should demand A LOT of Tom’s millions for child support to compensate for the hassles she will face as a single mother. I just hope that Tom is man enough to remain involved in the child’s life.

I hate reading this stuff sometimes. Who has this baby, and who cheated on that girlfriend. They all need to check the ego at the door, they think because they are in the land of money makers they can do whatever they want and nothing bad will ever happen. Reality check.

This is sad on so many levels, but especially for Mr. Brady. This only serves to prove that Tom Leykis is correct; any woman, no matter how rich or famous, will usually seek to ‘cash in’ against a man’s wishes — and against the best interests of this child, more importantly. Shame on Tom for not being more careful. Perhaps even more shame on Ms. Moynahan for trying to use Mr. Brady as a human ATM card for the next 18 yrs. Let’s all just hope this doesn’t affect his mental state, and thus his performance on the field. If it does, Ms. Moynahan will be in for a rude awakening vis-a-vis the subsequent reduced future payments.

Have you ever thought-maybe she is not “cashing in on” on Tom’s irresponsibility of preventing a pregnancy with someone he did not plan to spend the rest of his life with. It involves common sense, if you’re not sure of the impossibility of conception, make sure on your end(no pun intended). With the up’s and down’s of todays relationships, no sane man should take risks of “18 years of paying the bills” for an uninhibited sexual gratification. Ms. Bridget may not be “counting her cash benefits”, she may be looking forward to motherhood and having someone who will love her forever, not just until the next beautiful model or starlet takes her spot in bed.

I don’t think that we need to dwell on the situation of how this baby came to be. I just hope and pray that this baby will have both mommy & daddy to love and take care of him or her. Baby’s no matter wether they are planed or not are a blessing and something to look forward to.
I hope she will have lots of support and help thru the months to come because she will need to have that to surve the emotional side of it all.

As one can see Tom’s friends are already
bashing the woman for trying to “trap a man” or “getting a meal-ticket”, really. That is hypocrisy.

And Mr. Brady was very quick to rebound with Mrs.Skinny-Parents-are-responsible-for-anorexic-daughters – Gisele.

If I was 36 years old, dating Tom Brady and it looked like it was over I’d probably try to get pregnant too. That DNA is golden just like Tom. I love Tom Brady and I bet that he does all he can to work it out with Brigg for the baby’s sake. Gisele can go back to Leo.

STOP, so what he is going to be a father. It’s about time his squeaky clean image is tarnished. Get over it……..he’s a man, he puts his pants on one leg at a time. It does take two to make a baby. Did Tom not think about protection? He’s not so perfect, is he. I hope he teaches his child that it’s okay to lose and it’s okay to watch the Super Bowl when your own team it out, maybe this will help him grow up!!!

Ok, shame, shame, shame on Tom Brady for all these kids who worship him, now these young boys are watching him go out and get his long time girlfriend pregnant, then shack up with someone else right away. Too bad, I always thought he was a decent guy until this. When will people in this country stand up and get some morals about them. He’s just another professional athlete thug, no different than the rest of them!
