Erin Andrews in GQ: The Pictures are Muddy
ESPN, Erin Andrews August 18th. 2009, 10:30am
Erin Andrews, the ESPN sideline reporter, posed from some GQ photos earlier this year. Before the peephole video hit the internet. Today, GQ leaked the photos, which involve mud and football and probably will let down the masses.
Previously: Erin Andrews 911 Call: “I did nothing wrong, and I’m being treated like [effing] Britney Spears and it sucks.”
Previously: USA Today’s Christine Brennan on the Erin Andrews Situation: “Women sports journalists need to be smart and not play to the frat house.”

Seems to me like she has a complex. Is she a reporter or just one of the guys? These photos contradict themselves.
August 18th, 2009 at 10:39 am
How does a magazine leak its own photos?
August 18th, 2009 at 10:40 am
Hot!
August 18th, 2009 at 10:42 am
here is another photo, courtesy of the NY Daily News.

The view’s better from the peep hole.
August 18th, 2009 at 10:44 am
a magazine sends photos around to build anticipation.
August 18th, 2009 at 10:45 am
i can’t quite make out her vagina in these photos
/horrible person
August 18th, 2009 at 10:46 am
There is no complex. She is a very attractive sideline reporter. It doesn’t mean the fact that she is attractive, or plays up on being attractive gives justification for some peeping tom to take nude photos of her.
August 18th, 2009 at 10:46 am
Needs more peephole.
August 18th, 2009 at 10:46 am

guess that faux horror over the peephole incident has passed
I know blogs had nothing to do with what happened (insert sarcasm tag), but even if they did, why do you need to show her pictures, even when you said yourself they were taken months ago (to appear in time to launch college football season)?
If you really felt bad about what happened, you wouldn’t do a post on her for the entire college football season
August 18th, 2009 at 10:49 am
just a stab in the dark, but i’d guess (all together now)… pageviews!
August 18th, 2009 at 10:49 am
you feel bad for someone and you don’t post about them for an entire season? huh?
August 18th, 2009 at 10:50 am
Thanks GQ, now that I’ve seen the pictures, there’s no reason to go buy the magazine.
/not like I would have bought it anyway

yeah. huh
August 18th, 2009 at 10:54 am
jpq, what you’ve failed to realize is that EA is the news. just like the announcers are news and the writers are news, so is she. have you forgotten about the coaches and players talking about her in the cubs locker room? and the announcers are talking about her outfits and hanging out with her going ice fishing and all that crap?
she’s become the news whether you’d like her to be the news or not.

Apparently humor isn’t your thing.

When do the bloggers become “the news” and who gets to decide?
August 18th, 2009 at 10:58 am
tbl: those stories became news because they were all posted on blogs and got wide viewship. None of those stories would have made it out of their home market if it wasn’t her and/or posted on 100 blogs. The mainstream media never discussed those incidents, blogs did.
Whatever. I gotta go anyway until this afternoon, so i can’t discuss.
August 18th, 2009 at 10:58 am
There is something about her covered in mud that I find very attractive. It would only be better if it were chocolate pudding.

when we see TBL’s weiner, I guess. So hopefully, never.
August 18th, 2009 at 11:00 am
I think the day they move out of their parents basement qualifies as news.

That was EXACTLY the same thought I had. These photos may be disappointing to some but not me.
/serious media debate comment.

Mark Rosen of WCCO TV in Minneapolis is reporting that Brett Favre is on his way to Minneapolis and will be a Viking by the end of the day.

In that second one, she’s totally going for Goldie Hawn in Wildacts. Andrews does her homework.
August 18th, 2009 at 11:05 am
Look at her knees in that pic… look like Theismann’s
/Brad Pitt’d

Somebody please shoot that plane down. I’m so sick of this prima donna and his “I may retire to the ole ranch with my Wrangler jeans or I may try to gut out one more season and continue to trade on the marketability of my name”. Bastard.
August 18th, 2009 at 11:07 am
get away from me Finch, you fat fuck.
August 18th, 2009 at 11:08 am
the shrinking of jmac’s guns is newsworthy…surprised that hasn’t gotten play from the MSM yet.
August 18th, 2009 at 11:12 am
I thought that maybe she would have some sort of model swag but nada…everything about them was completely underwhelming except for the Giuseppe Zanotti heels. She’s a pretty girl for sure but falls flat.
August 18th, 2009 at 11:15 am
what you fail to recognize is that i don’t matter. bloggers don’t matter.
August 18th, 2009 at 11:15 am
no.
August 18th, 2009 at 11:16 am
If you ask me, they’re already the news, albeit in a smaller, less mainstream way. Blogs report on other blogs’ happenings, ESPN and other outlets steal shit from blogs and cite them as sources. That said, I’d much rather see Erin Andrews through the peep hole than any blogger.
P.S. In case I don’t make back in time for CRM’s preview, the Pats suck and Manning > Brady. That should pretty much cover my take on it.

August 18th, 2009 at 11:19 am
Agreed.
August 18th, 2009 at 11:20 am
No, what I meant was – when will we see a site that is posting pictures of TBL and Daulerio out at some NYC nightspot taking shots off a couple ugly chicks’ stomachs?
August 18th, 2009 at 11:20 am
so the guys that brings us videos on tmz of spencer pratt from hollywood asking him when his rap cd is coming out is news? weird, but when i watch sports i dont think “yeah that play was interesting but who is ron jaworski fucking?”
August 18th, 2009 at 11:21 am
BSanders… I want to get really excited for this season b/c meeks and the special teams coaches are out… but what I’m really worried about is the fact that the O line is very iffy with Diem and Johnson/Ugoh @ left tackle. I don’t think we really appreciated Tarik Glenn’s giant, often early, first step back to get into position.
Also, I love the fact the TBL has shifted to the right. It’s very easy to tell from his musings how conservative he has become. Not Repub, conservative.
Welcome, we need all the help we can get.
August 18th, 2009 at 11:23 am
your self-depracation is cute, TBL.
August 18th, 2009 at 11:25 am
Awesome.
August 18th, 2009 at 11:26 am
what you fail to recognize is that i don’t matter. bloggers don’t matter.
he’s fishing for compliments. Where’s Magglio Merkin to stroke his ego? or 1 Happy Street.
August 18th, 2009 at 11:27 am
that’s deep, man.
it’s all about the commenters anyway. would blgos post that kind of stuff if commenters didn’t demand it?
August 18th, 2009 at 11:27 am
who is ron jaworski fucking?”
some other old lesbian
August 18th, 2009 at 11:28 am
miz/mike – very few people ‘know’ bloggers names (or care). the value is the name of the blog. the TV mentions, the radio mentions – they say the blog name, not ‘jason mcintyre is reporting …’
you think anyone knows my name? or cares? bloggers don’t matter. the news is what matters.
re: shots … if TBL was a big deal 7 years ago, that might have been me. but im married and off the scene, man.
August 18th, 2009 at 11:28 am
Why does a sideline reporter matter? Because bloggers deem it so?
August 18th, 2009 at 11:30 am
Nevermind, she’s won the culture tourney two years running. Strike that question.
August 18th, 2009 at 11:31 am
Bloggers don’t matter? The decline print news would say different…..
August 18th, 2009 at 11:36 am
as said above, see lou pinella, rick sutcliffe, herbie and musburger …
August 18th, 2009 at 11:40 am

Needs more nude ass flexing.
August 18th, 2009 at 12:16 pm
I think those photos suck. Big letdown. Those aren’t different from a regular game broadcast. Bah.
August 18th, 2009 at 12:30 pm
Is EA trying to say she likes a little mud on the helmet?
August 18th, 2009 at 12:34 pm
why are the guys wearing shirts?
