Owner of Strip Club: Pacman [Jones] said, ‘I’m Going to Kill You’

So Pacman Jones, how was your All-Star weekend? Wait, we’re not interested in your answer. You’re probably lying.
In a story that we predicted would explode on Monday, the owner of Minxx, a strip club in Vegas, says that Pacman Jones and his crew were at the center of the shooting that injured three on the night of the NBA All-Star game. Sporting News radio broke this story Monday and reported Tuesday that there more than 10 witnesses who claim the fight that started it all involved Pacman’s crew.
Jones had tossed hundreds of $1 bills on the stripper stage, an action known in street slang as “making it rain.” When one of the strippers started grabbing the money without Jones’ permission, he got angry, grabbed her hair and slammed her head against the stage, Susnar said.
That’s when security guard Aaron Cudworth, a mixed-martial artist with professional fighting experience, intervened and stopped the assault, he said.
“At that point, Pacman said, ‘I’m going to kill you,’” Susnar said.
A melee ensued as Cudworth scuffled with Jones and members of his entourage, Susnar said.
Order was eventually restored, and everyone was moved outside. That’s when the gunman opened fire toward the front door of the club, hitting Cudworth, security guard Tom Urbanski and a female customer.
“He goes out, retrieves a gun, then shoots two security guards, pretty much making good on the threat made by Pacman Jones,” Susnar said.
Jeff Fisher, please retrieve the white courtesy phone. It’s Bud Adams, and he’s not happy.

Aside I: Psst. Where’s ESPN on this story? Oh, right. It probably doesn’t want to make it look like any violence took place All-Star weekend, so this story is getting zero play anywhere. Yahoo, Sportsline, and Sports Illustrated began reporting this story last night. That’s sad. Wonder what the ombud will say?
Aside II: Damn. We wrote Monday that Pacman was ‘Making it Reign’ when in reality it’s ‘Making it Rain.’ But isn’t the title of the song ‘Reign?’ We’re utterly perplexed. Help.

When Ja Rule’s involved nothing really makes sense.

to suggest that there were any lowlife thugs in LV during Black Thanksgiving, and that they were involved with brutal violence would be racist, I guess.
I’ll get a confirmation from Mike WIlbon.

My theme song is, in fact, titled “Make It Rain.”
But maybe you could do the remix: “Make It Reign,” recounting Alexander the Great’s escapades at strip clubs in 325 BC.

Did you forget? It’s not news unless ESPN breaks it.

This is reminiscent of the Michael Vick waterbottle story/nonstory that ESPN took about 12 hours longer than everyone else to talk about.

DJ Gallo mentioned Pacman in the AM Jump. He’s a beacon of light over there.

The only good thing to come of this would have been if the bouncer had an opportunity to break Pac Man’s face wide open – a la Rudy T. Then let him explain to Fisher and Bud Adams what happened.
But his boyz had to get themselves in the mix and people got shot. Gutless coward.
And since when in the blue hell does a stripper have to ask permission to pick up money thrown at her and the stage? If Pac Man didn’t want her to have it, he might have well just tied some fishing line to some $100 bills and had his fun that way.
Assaulting a woman – what a miserable piece of shit douche bag this guy is.

Yeah its ‘Make it Rain’… dont try to be hip if you dont listen to hip hop.

You forgot about the ankle biting
Stein would do well to stress that Pacman plays football, therefor this is a football issue and has nothing to do with the angels in the NBA

Fuck this guy… what a miserable insignificant piece of shit this guy is, emotionally empty, ignorant, blatant portrail of the angry black guy sterotype… and I’m sure he’ll be starting for the Titans next season because nothing ever happens to pro altheletes (Tank Johnson) and sometimes its cool and I dont mind (Mike Vick) but if this guy isn’t kicked out of the league for good, I’ll be disgusted… and the NFL should be embarassed.

Due to your confusion, that song, “Make it Rain”, has been in my head for two days now.

What happened:
Pacman was makin it rain on the hoes he wanted to give a dirty sanchez to and when some other chic came over to pick up those GW’s he wasnt havin it. He then decides to make sure shes understands this so he grabs her head and smashes it into the dance floor. When the bouncer intervenes Pac man has, at this point, boiled over with rage and just starts screamin, “smoke his ass, smoke em”
At what point does: wait a motha fuckin second I play professional football and have been in trouble on numerous occasions and well, this might not go over too well back in Tennessee pop into his head???
What a shame, this guy is a very talented CB but man what a mother fucker

As a blackman, I’m utterly disgusted with Pacman. The league should compel Tennesse to void his contract – and allow this animal to roam in the wilderness.

I think they should chemically castrate this scumbag.
Just to be sure that those fucked up genes end with him.

Pacman lived in my neighborhood for a while when he was in college at WVU and I can tell you from first-hand experience both watching his actions and talking with him that Pac is a complete thug who should be thrown in prison for a while and completely kicked out of the NFL. His “posse” was always starting shit at concerts and bars when he was in college and you could tell he was the ringleader of the group. When I first heard this story I wasn’t ready to place blame on him, but it definitely sounds like he was at the center of this shooting if you can beleive a strip club owner.

Who said the NFL stands for “No Fun League”?

OK. As a dancer, I see men “make it rain” every time the song plays. Many times, the men get carried away and the rain falls to the ground instead of onto the stage. At that point, other dancers will usually pick up the money to prevent customers from doing the same. Ultimately it belongs to the stage performer the minute it “rains” out of the customer’s hand.
To think that physical violence would be directed at the dancer who was picking up the money is not completely surprising. Unfortunately, the choice to play the song, as well as many others like it, is an invitation for the thug mentality that creates such violent acts.
Regardless of profession or intent, PacMan had no right to lay hands on a dancer for picking up money he decided to let “rain”. The act alone should land him with an aggravated assault charge and the subsequent acts could realistically land him with charges for insighting a riot. I think that the attempted murder rap would be a stretch, but the fact that he made statements insinuating that he would kill someone and that ultimately resulted in people being shot may make that charge stick as well . . . not that I really expect a conviction on any of it given his wealth and social stature. I do however believe he should no longer be allowed to grace Titan stadium with his presence, or any other NFL team for that matter.

Pacman Jones is a thug, plain and simple. If he wants to be a “gangsta”, well real gangsters are put in jail for ordering a “hit”, and he definately did, and one of his associates carried it out. Perhaps Fisher and the entire sports community ought to consider the price that is paid for protecting these animals. What wonderful role models they are paying to represent their sport, so they can literally throw money around, and feel it’s acceptable to threaten people’s lives. He spits, he bites….he tells his brainless buddies to kill people. Throw his punk ass in jail, and let him be somebody’s bitch. I hope they sue his, and the league’s, asses off. There’s a guy in the hospital who will never walk again because of this . Why isn’t anyone upset about that??

Pacman is a punk and deserves to die in jail.
I know many bouncers in Vegas and a couple that work at the Minxx. Pacman is a lying bastard. The bouncer dislocated his arm because he punched a dancer. Big man punches a girl.. should be jail time for that alone.
How does your arm feel you lying baby? I saw a picture of you the following day with a brace on it. I thought you weren’t involved with the fight?
Your girlfriend deserves to do time also. She hit Arron over the head with a bottle and was screaming “Smoke him, Smoke that white bitch!” while you were screaming “You’re dead, I’m gonna kill you!”
You both should do time for insighting a riot.. and calling for a hit on someones life. When that threat was carried out by your own crew 10 minutes later.
Loser.. and all you fags sending death treats on the club owner and bouncer are losers also…
I hope all of you get what you deserve.

1) Throw this man in jail for Aggravated Assault.
2) Kick him out of the league. No more million dollar checks for him.
3) Let him spend all his remaining money — which is what he is going to do since he’s “gangsta” — and screw up his life. He will have no more money, no more thugs, and no more power to damage society to the degree that he has already. What a sad episode….
