Dirk’s Baby Mama Gets 5 Years in Jail
1-liner, Athlete spawn, Courts, Legal, NBA August 24th. 2009, 2:30pmDirk Nowitzki’s Baby Mama: “The former fiancée of pro basketball star Dirk Nowitzki was sentenced this morning to five years in prison for violating probation in a 12-year-old forgery and theft case. Circuit Judge Nancy Schneider ordered the execution of concurrent five-year prison sentences for three felony counts and a one-year jail term for a misdemeanor. Schneider gave Taylor credit for one year of probation, effectively reducing the sentence to four years. Matthew Fry, Taylor’s attorney, said his client also will receive credit for more than 100 days she spent in jail waiting for the case to be resolved.” Finally, closure for one of the most bizarre NBA stories of last season. I think Dirk now has some serious collateral damage from this mentally.. You think it effects his game for better or worse?

It is still not clear from the article just how many years in jail. By my count it is five years minus 100 days total not four.
