Jacory Harris and Miami Survive FSU, 38-34
College Football, Fans September 8th. 2009, 7:02am
Miami 38, Florida State 34. Bobby Bowden called it the 3rd best college football game he’s been a part of. Jacory Harris, Miami’s sophomore QB, looked sharp enough for ESPN’s Bruce Feldman to opine that he’s the greatest thing to happen to the U since Ed Reed. (Even Reggie Bush was impressed!) And thanks to ESPN cameras, this t-shirt will be everywhere later today. [Image via Cortes, via 790 the Ticket ... UPDATE: A reader sends in a photo of the much-talked about 'Glitter Girls.']

If Only It Mattered.
It wasn’t a “classic” game like some of the ones from the 80s and 90s, but it’ll be hard to have a better game this year.

Please lord tell me someone was able to get a screen grab of the “golly green giant” and the “golden girl”. If you watched the 1st half you know which two ladies I’m talking about

Good game – gracious for the lack of influence of any real hurricane.
The U looks loaded @ the skill positions.
D is suspect. Maybe they should bring in the D from the HS they used for 7-8 offensive players.

Did Erin Andrews say the same phrase three times in this interview? “I’ve got to ask you”

This game still has a second left…you can’t tell me it’s over!

Great game based on the field performance.
My only fear with these 2 teams resurgence: the thousands of UM and FSU d-bags who will arise with the teams.

Yesssss…my wife and I had a good laugh seeing these two…

Bowden’s gotta retire….FSU had dreadful clock-management when they were at the goal line…they probably lost 15-20 seconds while players were running in and off the field.

Great game best game I saw over the long weekend. FSU’s recivers dropped too many passes including that last one.

I still think this was a great and legit matchup. I think both of these teams are as good as they have been in the past 3-4 years. I think they will both contend and be a force. The ACC should be much improved with these teams as well as VT and GT looking to be legit, not to mention possibly UNC.

Florida State isn’t “back.” They are still losing 4-5 games this year.

Everytime the green giant jiggled I threw up in my mouth a little bit

The ACC will be a joke. Much imnproved? Are you kidding me???? UNC and Miami are the only two teams in the league who will be improved. The rest will either be the same, or worse.
