Twins 3, Tigers 2: Because the game was rained out last night, they’re playing two today. In the opener, Minnesota scored two in the top of the 10th and crept within one game of Detroit in the AL Central. Curtis Granderson led off the 10th with a homer, but then Joe Nathan retired the next three batters and earned a save. Tonight’s starters: Verlander for the Tigers, rookie Brian Duensing for the Twins. Eleven days ago, Duensing scattered four hits over 6 1/3 innings, helping Minnesota to a 3-0 victory over Detroit.
