Panic at the University of Missouri Over Old Phones
1-liner, College Athletics, College Basketball, College Football October 2nd. 2009, 5:00pmU of Missouri and Cell Phones: “Mike Bellman thought he was buying a box of old cellular phones he planned to resell as parts. Instead, he wound up with a collection of electronic information from the University of Missouri’s Athletics Department.” Now, he’s selling the phones, which contain – you guessed it – “hundreds of contact phone numbers, e-mail messages and text messages.” He paid $190 for the phones; he’s trying to sell them for $3,000. A Kansas fan should swoop in and buy them and have some real fun with the phones. [Columbia Daily Tribune]

I wrote about this the other day and Bellman actually commented on it. E-mailed back and forth with him the last few days. He’s a funny guy.
