Kansas Fight Fallout: This story’s confusing, but here’s the jist: On July 25, Mario Chalmers’ baby mamma allegedly assaulted another female and was cited for misdemeanor battery. Chalmers witnessed the incident. It just so happens that last month, about an hour after the melee between the football and basketball teams, a man threatened to shoot a woman (Chalmers’ baby mamma?) in the parking near on-campus apartments for student-athletes. Police are connecting the July 25 assault to the football/basketball rumble. Could it be that the victim of the July 25 assault was connected to a football player? [LJ World via Buster Sports]
