Plaxico Burress Is Living the Sweet Life in Prison Apparently
1-liner, NFL, Prison Rules October 6th. 2009, 3:00pmPrison Not Hard Enough: Plaxico Burress’ stay in prison is not arduous enough for the New York Post’s Douglas Montero. The hardened criminal gets protected from the general population for safety reasons, and his wife with her relevant “white Range Rover” was allowed to (gasp!) bring him real food. If forced to drop the soap, he might understand the true gravity of accidentally shooting himself. Burress is in prison while Jerramy “I raped a girl and stole her underwear” Stevens walks this earth with impunity. Ridiculous. (New York Post)

That piece of Stevens is one of the best articles I’ve ever read. I cannot remember when you first posted it, but how Stevens can still earn a very nice living is just amazing to me. That guy is one big piece of shit.

montero would also be shocked to learn that pedophiles also get special protection in prison.

Leonard Little and Ray Lewis killed people. But sure, let’s take a shot at Jerramy Stevens.

The gun laws in Manhattan are a farce. Plaxico is as dumb as a box of rocks, but he shouldn’t lose two years of his life because of it.
October 6th, 2009 at 3:11 pm
Oh, we’ll take shots at them, but Stevens deserves every shot he gets.
October 6th, 2009 at 3:11 pm
fuck Plaxico Burress
October 6th, 2009 at 3:13 pm
Wait, so a guy who left zero innocent victims and was merely a pawn in the Mayor and DA’s “This is an example of what can happen” game is separated from the killers and rapists in the gang infested general population?
Why that’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard.
Fuck New York.

Lewis knew who killed someone, he didn’t do it himself. And trying to defend that piece of shit Stevens is not becoming. That dude is a waste of space and should have his nuts cut off. He’s a punk-ass bitch.

Is arguing the relative merits of attacking a rapist vs. attacking one guy who killed someone with a car while drunk and one guy who allegedly abetted a murder really something you want to explore? Because I don’t think anyone who has piled onto Stevens is doing so to the detriment of any other piece of shit person in the league now or in the recent past.

He could have pleaded it down to 90 days but he dug in his heels and insisted that he wouldn’t agree to any time. And if Burress didn’t want to go to jail for 2 years he should have left his gun at home. He’s at fault, not the law.
October 6th, 2009 at 3:17 pm
I’m only defending him in the sense that if you think that Jerramy Stevens of all people in the NFL is the one who should be locked up over all others, then you’re grossly mistaken.
October 6th, 2009 at 3:17 pm
TBL you really need to get involved in Social Justice since you can’t seem to shake this one famous guy getting a harsh sentence. There are millions of poor plaxico’s out there that could use your help.
October 6th, 2009 at 3:19 pm
Never said anything of the sort. I just said he is a terrible human being and the world would be a better place if he were in prison.
October 6th, 2009 at 3:19 pm
I really like this.

sex crime people are usually not put into general population, cause the other inmates just don’t tolerate crimes against kids. also, at the LA twin towers, the top floors (called the bird house) are reserved for people who are not males and not females…most of them are 1/2 way into a sex change and may be brutalized if placed with the rest.

I think most people would argue that killing a person while driving drunk, while reprehensible, is far less disgusting than Stevens rape and subsequent actions.
October 6th, 2009 at 3:21 pm
In fact, I do think that, based on what I know about them, Jerramy Stevens should be locked up above all others.
October 6th, 2009 at 3:21 pm
i knew the gun law in NY was stupid as shit, but didn’t feel too much for Plax when he was originally found guilty. but then when they showed him going off to jail a couple weeks ago it hit me as how stupid this whole thing was.
October 6th, 2009 at 3:23 pm
This is such lazy fucking logic. You’re trying to relate two completely different cases in different jurisdictions and attempting to draw some sort of morally relative conclusion. The fact that a scumbag like Stevens walks free has zero, I repeat, zero to do with the Burress case.
October 6th, 2009 at 3:23 pm
Ty implied it, which is why my original post.
October 6th, 2009 at 3:25 pm
they are poor, why should we care?
Only the rich should be given lesser sentences for pleading guilty to a crime.
and yes, Jerramy Stevens is a peice of dog shit, but lets pick something equivalent to what Plax did and not put a weak straw man out there to distract from the fact that Plax did in fact break the law and accepted the 2 year deal presented to him. the only thing that screwed him over was being a dumbass with a lawyer wife who didn’t get his head checked before carrying a concealed weapon w/o a permit in NYC.
October 6th, 2009 at 3:27 pm
That’s a great album bsanders. Art’s dad really must have did a number on him.
October 6th, 2009 at 3:29 pm
I agree with you, but they don’t take to kindly to that kind of talk here on the moral high ground of Mt. Righteous Indignation, as everyone sits atop their high horse.
October 6th, 2009 at 3:31 pm
look, plax was convicted of a crime and given a sentence that the law imposed. you may think its harsh, but that is a legislative matter. and the fact that other men in his profession committing what you deem (i do too) lesser crimes but not serving time doesn’t mean that plax shouldn’t be in jail.
October 6th, 2009 at 3:32 pm
no heartspark dollarsign? i love that song
October 6th, 2009 at 3:33 pm
I could care less about Plax’s sentence. As stated above, he committed a crime and he was punished. I just always like to bring up what a total fuck-tard Stevens is and that he should be getting raped in prison right about now.
October 6th, 2009 at 3:34 pm
So, like, what the fuck are you all arguing about? Two separate cases?
October 6th, 2009 at 3:34 pm
100% agree. but i do think it just proved how stupid the law in NY is.
October 6th, 2009 at 3:34 pm
@Mafia +1
Don’t dance if you can’t pay the band.
October 6th, 2009 at 3:36 pm
SS, I’m assuming (hoping) you meant Stevens, Little and Lewis committed greater crimes than Burress without serving time. Though Little did serve a short stint after his.
October 6th, 2009 at 3:38 pm
yes, broseph, that is what i meant.
October 6th, 2009 at 3:40 pm
This is why I dont give a fuck.
October 6th, 2009 at 3:47 pm
I’m sorry, there is no such thing as a high horse.
October 6th, 2009 at 3:52 pm
Wait, so high horse = sportsmanship?
October 6th, 2009 at 3:54 pm
i wonder if duffy can write something that doesnt want to make people punch him in the face? if he writes a post that isnt about soccer it has some agenda that makes him come off as someone that doesnt get the real world.
October 6th, 2009 at 4:03 pm
im staying clear of this one
October 6th, 2009 at 4:10 pm
Win.
October 6th, 2009 at 4:47 pm
if he writes a post that isnt about soccer it has some agenda that makes him come off as someone that doesnt get the real world.
I would say a majority of people on here aren’t old enough and/or haven’t had enough life experiences to get the real world, yet they think they get it

Way to defend your boy Cass, wouldn’t expect anything less from a Husky fan.
/Ray Ray technically didn’t kill anyone, just watched.
October 6th, 2009 at 7:15 pm
i get the real world…it’s when people stop being nice and start being real, right?
