Further Proof that the Favres Hate Ted Thompson?
Athlete Wives, NFL October 12th. 2009, 12:18pm
A reader emailed us this photo of Deanna Favre, likely taken at last Monday Night’s game between the Packers and Vikings. (Someone may be able to confirm whether or not that is Favre’s teenage daughter, Breleigh, on the right.) Is the guy in the middle wearing a photoshopped jersey? Could be, but it wouldn’t surprise us if it were real. That would only back up claims that media sources told us earlier this year – Brett Favre hate Packers’ GM Ted Thompson with a passion.

Waaaaahhhhhhh, mean old Ted wanted me to act in the best interest of the team for once in the last decade when it should really be all about me!
He’s a douchebag

geez how dare ted thompson not want to have a sideshow inolving whether the most important position on his team is gonna be brett or not every offseason. what an asshole.

I wonder if the old quarterback still wishes he were with the Packers after witnessing their stellar pass protection and defensive putridity this season…dude would have retired after last season when they might have finished 8-8 with him anyway

god forbit ted thompson has what’s best for the team on his mind.

The girl on the right looks too old for a teenager

It’s maddening how often this goes overlooked when the “revenge” factor is mentioned…this guy is only slightly less self-centered than Terrell Owens yet he’s crafted this image of himself such that it’s considered sacrilege for the media to remain overly critical of him

Devils’ advocate here, but if you have a quarterback who was one bad pass away from taking you to another Super Bowl, isn’t a certain level of genius (and no, I’m not a Favre nut-hugger by any means) allowed its eccentricities? Or is being at training camp the day it opens that big of a deal to a player that’s been in the league as long as Favre?

The only problem with this is that the PAckers had to decide what to do with Rodgers since he was coming up on his walk year. Favre would have been 39 and then Rodgers would have bailed because they never let him play. Then what? You have a 40 year old QB and no future QB in sight.
And yet again the Packers weren’t bad last year because of Rodgers. That defense was awful and the offensive line can’t block anyone. Just look at the defensive stats from 2007 to 2008. Its mind boggling.

Doesn’t this just play into the Ted Thompson’s fault argument? Isn’t he the guy that drafted a replacement 3+ years early? I can’t stand all the hype/slobbering that farve gets, but ted thompson’s a dick for blindsiding him with that pick and then trying to push him out to see what he has waiting in the wings.
October 12th, 2009 at 12:56 pm
Damn. I was just talking about that show yesterday and wondering when it was gonna come back. That show is good. bastards

October 12th, 2009 at 1:03 pm

The Cleveland Show got picked up for a second season BEFORE IT FUCKING PREMIERED.

@Jay: I work at an NBC affiliate. We’re PISSED that Jay Leno is our lead-in. He does terrible (repeat: TURR-BLE!) ratings leading into our evening newscast.
We’ve heard somewhere that if Leno just makes something like a 1.5 or 2.0 rating than NBC will make $300 million off of the show.
Thanks, NBC, for fucking over your affiliates with a shitty lead-in, and canceling a critically acclaimed show b/c those hayseed Leno viewers can’t stand seeing people get shot at FUCKING 8 p.m. in the evening!!!

Hey Brett, you told the Packer fans to get over it and move on.
Same to you, big guy. Same to you.
October 12th, 2009 at 1:53 pm
Waaaaaaah!!!! Brett Favre has the audacity to be mad at Ted Thompson. The audacity of him to have some get back and prove him wrong thoughts in his mind.
October 12th, 2009 at 2:20 pm
When your quarterback’s been openly talking about retirement since 2002 and you get the quarterback who should have gone #1 to San Fran at #22 you have to take him
October 12th, 2009 at 2:36 pm
this just makes me want the vikings to go 15-1 and lose in the divisional because favre threw 4 picks even more.
