Howard Bryant Believes “The Red Sox Will Never Be The Same”
1-liner, Baseball, ESPN, Hyperbole October 13th. 2009, 4:45pmColumnist Hyperbole: Yesterday, we said the Red Sox’ defeat was not a watershed. WWL columnist Howard Bryant disagrees. “Dustin Pedroia’s soft floater curled downward into the open, waiting glove of Erick Aybar to end the 2009 postseason for the Boston Red Sox, and the old inevitability of a momentous, improbable and historic comeback gave way to a new one: The Red Sox as we knew them are dead.” Wow. Jesus. It’s not like they won’t field a competitive team next year, guy. Just because they’re not far and away the best team in the AL anymore doesn’t mean they’re done.

Even more shocking from ESPN Bahstahn, Chris Forsberg is a serial killer, and not actually a writer at all.

Those 86 years didn’t exist, just like the 40 or so years before the Patriots won the Superbowl in 2002.

Howard Bryant hasn’t been the same since he left SI.
I said the same thing on here about Braby and the Pats after losing to the Giants. For some reason, I just got this vibe like it was never going to be the same for the Pats (and especially Brady) again.
