Michael Beasley Passed Out
1-liner, NBA October 24th. 2009, 2:00pmTMZ got a hold of some pictures of Michael Beasley asleep on a boat. There are empty beer bottles and cans in one of the pictures. Beasley was in rehab this summer. The Heat are saying Beasley wasn’t drinking and was with his counselor. Either way, how shady is it that someone on the boat took these pictures? (TMZ via SbB)

Just finished Chuck Klosterman’s new book. Includes this line in an essay about the internet and techology:
“By promoting online media he promotes himself. Tags, Waco is “special”. They also had a Mormon- like group a couple of years ago with underage marriages. I live about 50 miles away and try not to get any closer to that place.

Most of the things we now know about the Branch Davidians, and the crazy collateral damage, we didn’t know one year later when Tim McVeigh and some other guy (I want to say Jeff Giloolly, even though I know that’s wrong) blew up that federal building in OKC on the anniversary, and listed that as their primary motive.
