Michael Turner vs. the Curse: Remember the big offseason discussion about Atlanta Falcons RB Michael Turner and his 2008 heavy workload? After leading the league in rushing yards per game last year (110; he was 2nd overall in yards with 1,699 yards), Turner is averaging a meek 67 yards per game this season. He’s 16th in the league in rushing and averaging just 3.4 yards per carry, which is 3nd worst among the top 20 rushers (Larry Johnson, 2.7; Kevin Smith, 3.2). Fortunately, Turner still has two games against the Bucs, and also plays Washington, so that could easily be 400 yards right there. [AJC]
