JJ Redick, one of the greatest shooters in college basketball history, recently told a small batch of reporters that he’s putting out a rap album. It was supposed to be a “hush-hush, underground thing,” but new teammate Ryan Anderson blew up his spot. Amazingly, the names for Redick’s “rap group” bear a striking resemblance to his NBA game – “sub-par, afterthought, and no profits.” The name for his first single is also ironic – “waste management.” Nice to see Redick still has a sense of humor after three disappointing seasons in the league. And this is the portion of the post where you wonder why Greg Oden’s not included in this project. [NBA Offseason]
