This kind of junk would have never happened if Tyson Chandler were still in New Orleans. Hey Rondo – you have the better supporting cast. You have the title. Why are you jumping on Rondo so hard? Paul is a surly misanthrope that somehow has convinced the world he’s an affable guy. He’s been getting into these situations since high school, and for some reason, every time it’s always the other guy’s fault according to the media. He’s a great player, but he’s approaching Stockton levels of dirtiness.

I haven’t heard a bad thing about Paul since college. I have heard about a million great things, though.
I know Rondo is a punk bitch, though. And I also saw every other notable celtic, but KG come over and apologize to Rondo.

I thought the contract was a steal for the Celts. Rondo will be the 3rd best pg over the next five (factoring in age) and is top 5 already.
He is way more valuable than bigs (Aldridge) or Hedo who got more than him

It’s stupid really. Rondo thinks he’s better than he is. I also remember trying to start shit with Kobe last year, as well as Alston.
He needs to understand his place. You put CP3 in his position and the Celts would be much, MUCH better than they are now.
Rondo said something like “he’s only good cause he has the ball in his hands all the damn time” or something like that.
I like Chris, he’s a good guy it seems. He has a bit of a Napolean complex though.

Love Chris Paul’s game, but don’t buy that he’s some great unselfish guy. Remember that’s how LeBron was portrayed before he started running players out of town and refusing to do national radio interviews with “a Kobe Guy.”

Lebron never came off as unselfish to me. Maybe on the court, but definetly not on it. CP3 seems like a genuine guy though. I happen to like Deron more though, that’s my dude, I love his playing style.
Rondo just comes off as an alien looking douchebag who thinks he’s the shit cause he plays with 3 hall of famers.

Yes. Deron is very good (has been) but regressed somewhat last year. His D has only been so so and TOs are high. Rondo is still young much superior defender (half the game!) much better rebounder and effecient on offense

If only every player could “regress” and put up the highest scoring and assist numbers of their career.
And don’t forget that in the next few years guys like John Wall, Abdul Gaddy and Tony Wroten and others all will be entering the league, any one of whom (or all of) could be better than Rondo.

Hell, I’d take Calderon over Rondo. Rondo has good D, I’ll give him that, but a) he can’t shoot to save his life and b) he plays with a great cast so his value is inflated to be much more than it actually is.

He has the best D of any PG so he is clearly number 1 in the pg category for half the game (If this is due to Tom Thibodeau I do not know). He is also the best rebounding pg. Despite not being able to shoot he does not run the ball over, gets O boards. He is still young and scoring is an area that is easy to improve (take more shoots) rondo should be like Deron and get to the line more actually! Deron looked awful against brooks last night so maybe I am being unfairly biased. (and yes deron highest scoring avg was last year, increased by 1 pt per game for every extra shoot he took).
Does his cast inflates his value, time will tell, but he has this year another with pp and couple more with KG (if he makes it).
