Artie Lange is one of our favorite comedians. He’s hilarious on the Howard Stern show, and even if you don’t have Sirius, then you’re probably familiar with his work on Letterman, Conan, Beer League, or, perhaps most famously, the Joe Buck Show. We spoke to him in August about an idea that would blend two of his great passions: Sports and picking games. So each Friday this season, he’ll pick three NFL locks.
Last week: 0-3 (mired in for 1-8 funk)
Season to date: 12-12
Philadelphia Eagles -3 at home against Dallas.
Green Bay Packers -9.5 at Tampa Bay.
Detroit Lions +10 at Seattle.
Artie will be at the Beacon Theater in New York for the New York Comedy Festival Nov. 6th.

Why do I get the impression that Artie could care less about this post. I get the feeling that each week you have to email him two or three reminders before he sends you his “oh what the heck, here goes” picks.

Any truth that Stern may be returning to regular (terrestrial?) radio after his gig with Sirius is up?
When I worked 3rd shift I used to listen to him every morning on my way home and then when I got home. Miss those days.

I think this is the first week that Artie Lange didn’t pick the Giants as one of his three. I’m also sad how sure I am about that.
