NBA Injuries Already Mounting
1-liner, NBA November 7th. 2009, 2:50pmNBA Injuries: Chicago Bulls forward Ty Thomas, who hasn’t really had an impact in his first two seasons, will miss at least 4-6 weeks after suffering a “fractured radius in his left forearm” while doing pull-ups Friday. This means more playing time for USC rookie Taj Gibson. A more serious injury: Sacramento lost leading scorer Kevin Martin for eight weeks due to a hairline fracture in his wrist. No clue where the Kings’ scoring will come from, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see rookie Tyreke Evans chucking 20 shots a night for the next two months. [Tribune, Sac Bee]

Speaking of NBA injuries, when is Carlos Boozer gonna get injured? Got offered him for Chris Kaman in fantasy, wondering if I should just keep Kaman.

I’m too lazy to comment on the Lebron thread, but this was interesting.
Sam Smith of the Bulls had an article stating that there’s a rummour that Lebron could even go to the Lakers. I thought that was the funniest thing I’d ever heard.
However, Lebron did say “I’m not all about making max money”,which I will buy because as much as Lebron wants to be LeGlobal, his impact is significantly decreased if he’s not winning, which he wont likely be doing in Cleveland at this rate.
