Richmond Announcer (?) Upset at Missed Field Goal and Loss Accidentally Curses on Air
College Football, Media Gossip/Musings, Video November 8th. 2009, 2:53pmRichmond had its 17-game winning streak snapped Saturday, and after a field goal attempt by kicker Andrew Howard was missed in the final seconds, someone in the Comcast booth/truck can clearly be heard saying (at the 1:08 mark): “What a bum. Come on. End this fucking game. Pffft. Ugh. Let’s go home already.” [Delco Times via Fang's Bites]

That was a guy in the production truck, if I’m not mistaken. The pbp guy was none other than tWWL’s own Bob Pecozzi, and you could hear the color guy talking at a lower sound level than whoever uttered the “dirty words”.

Love situations like these, especially when it provokes instant phony rage. Was anyone offended? Honestly? If a 6 year old heard it, umm, what happens?

That was definitely not a broadcaster. You can still hear them talking while this “ugh” guy talks over them. Possibly a production guy. But, to me, it sounds like some YouTuber who recorded themselves over the game then posted it. Phony.
