Brooke Hundley gave a teary interview to Good Morning America’s Kate Snow a few minutes ago. Hundley was pretty guarded about her affair with Steve Phillips.

brooke-hundley-steve-phillips-espn-affair* Jay Leno made Hundley cry. “When Jay Leno was using my looks as part of his opening monologue to get a cheap laugh … at that point … a person has a breaking point.”
* Hundley has been advised legally not to speak about anything regarding Phillips, but she did say, “I was in a situation where I felt like if I didn’t do what was asked of me, then everything I had worked for in the past six years … would be gone like that.”
* Brooke hinted that she went to ESPN management about whatever was going on with Phillips. She was unclear on this topic, but it almost sounded like she was thinking about suing the WWL. She chose her words carefully enough to leave it open to interpretation.
* Hundley has heard the 911 call by Phillips wife, and said, “the same fear I heard in her voice was a similar fear to how I felt” … then Kate Snow mentioned the affair and the letter and the texting and Hundley got teary and said, “I brought it on, but not intentionally … I wanted someone to get upset enough to have an impact to get me out of this horrific situation.”
* She oddly said that “anything between me and Steve has been resolved” - which could mean a) he paid her to lift the restraining order or b) she has no plans to sue him.

Dimestore analysis: If she’s going after anyone, it is ESPN.
