Stephen A. Smith Returns to His Newspaper Roots
1-liner, Media Gossip/Musings November 12th. 2009, 11:00amStephen A. Smith: He just announced that he’s returning to the Philadelphia Inquirer as a general sports columnist. Does this mean he won’t be pontificating on health care, Joe Biden, and Sarah Palin on CNN and MSNBC and Fox News? Let’s attempt to put this together – they fired him. He sued them. He won in court. Eight weeks later … he’s back on staff. Hmmm. [Twitter]

I like that Smith says what most folks are really thinking but too afraid to say. Often I agree with him.
Furthermore, it is so hypocritical in American society that anyone who is not white-skinned, with Smith as a prime example. can say things that MOST believe without as much flack under the guise that many a white critic fears that they will be tagged as racist or politically incorrect. Then they are accomodated with that line about “diversity.”
If a person with white-skin said it, and don’t get me wrong not all “white folks” are near the same and I don’t agree with most of them, that would be the end of his or her career.
Think if Carrie Prejean were black and so forth.
Fuckin’ racist country.
